The hotel is based in a good location over-looking the marina, and has a few good resturants near by. The view from the 5th floor was great, and it was high enough we didn't hear the road. Breakfast was very good, there is fast wi-fi access in the rooms. The rooms are standart, but the small balcony adds a lot.

Room Tip: High floor with a view to the marina have good view, and are high enough that the road doesn't d...

The hotel is near the marina and it was about 1.5km from the piers where the boats trips leave.
The hotel service was great, the receptionist was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants nearby. They have some parking on site for free and another car park round the corner for 4 euro a day. The Breakfast wasn't included but was good value for 9 euro.

I hesitated between a rating of "average' and "very good" for this one, but overall we were very content with our stay there. The hotel lacks charm, and it has more of a "chain hotel" feel, but that also means it is efficient, clean, and spacious, with modern appliances etc. The breakfast is 9 euros and buffet style, good for those who don't adore a good continental French breakfast; that was not us. They had yogurt and fruit as extras, but the coffee was not the great cafe au lait that I come to France for, and the croissants were mediocre. The second day we found several bistros down the street for a good, less expensive French breakfast. The location of the hotel is about 15 minutes' walk from the center of town (it is quiet for sleeping) and close to beachfront (10 minutes' walk).

Nice modern hotel near the marina with parking round the back. Get refurbished rooms - they cost extra but are worth it.

Stayed one night there. The room is spacious and well equipped. In the addition, there is a huge balcony and we enjoyed the sunrise in the morning which is really stunning. Will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are on the plain side but the staff are really nice and it is located a couple of minutes from the centre of this really great little suburb, Augillion(?). It's about a 20 minute walk down the boardwalk and promenade to the main town or there's a free mirco electric bus that goes about every hour.
There's absolutely everything you need locally and a tourist info that's very helpfull. Our favourite restaurant is The Chipiron, very fresh fish staright from the market. Not the cheapest but great at about 20 euros for a main. Next to this is L'estival, a super little cafe which is great for breakfast at 5.50 euros. Further down the road towards the main town, a 7 minute walk is the Loubine Restaurant. Excellent value, choice and lovely staff.
For a super day out take a ferry trip over to Cap Ferret from one of the piers in Arcachon for about 15 euros rtn. From the pier at Cap Ferret take the little train (July & Aug) to the ocean. The train only takes about 15 mins but takes you straight onto the beach - the view is outstanding, breathtaking and there's some small beach kiosks.

This hotel is very good value for money. We chose a port view room which was on the 5th floor and had a balcony overlooking the marina and Bassin. In late October it was still just warm enough to sit out.

There was free parking behind the hotel and also 2 lock-up garages at a charge, plus parking at another nearby site. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room had a double and single bed and a clean well-equipped bathroom woth bath and over-bath shower (though strangely no shower curtain). Large wardrobes and free internet access. Not luxurious but very reasonably priced and clean and comfortable.

We had breakfast at 7 euros a person and it was good, with a buffet of fruit, yogurt, croissant, rolls etc.

It was a 15 to 20 minute walk to the heart of the shops and seaview restaurants but the walk was pleasant along a lit boardwalk by the water's edge. Good choice of restaurants there with varied prices - we liked Le Victoria. Some restaurants nearer the hotel but not open every night. Lovely shops and patisseries - including good icecream parlour, chocolate shop and (bizarrely) a shop which seemed to sell only tinned sardines in many varieties!
