On arriving at the Villa, you realise you are in the nicest part of town Ville D'hiver is a collection of stunning 19th century "my house is bigger than yours" excess! The Villa Regina is also a beautiful edifice. It's now divided into lots of self contained studios. Ours had a Kitchen area , microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, Sofa/Bed plus a Double bedroom, and separate toilet and Bathroom. Not stunning but clean and comfortable, although the bed was really firm for those of you with any back issues, I would check this before booking. theres is no restaurant or bar, just a breakfast room, but seriously, you shouldn't need to cater here, Arcachon is packed full of great restaurants and bars, from the cheap and cheerful to the haute cuisine variety. Also it' s great to just buy a load of stuff and eat on the wonderful beaches. There is a nice pool here also, if you want a lazy hour or so before heading out. The location is perfect for walking into Arcachon, although some steep climbs back for those of you less able. So overall, a lovely setting in a beautiful if a bit faded building, with ok rooms. We paid 90 euros per night inc breakfast, which is about right

We were there for only one night but this is a nice hotel with a very friendly staff and huge rooms. Most people go there for extended stays.

The bed was a little old and hard but otherwise, everything was very good. Plenty of parking, free wifi and lovely gardens and a small swimming pool.

When in Arcachon, stop at Brasserie Le Commerce on thursdays. The food is okay but on thursday evening, they have free wine tasting so you can enjoy as many glasses as you like and it's on the house.

Excellent location in an upmarket and very quiet part of town. Very friendly staff. Walk to town and beaches. Studio apartments with all the equipment you would expect. Good value for money.

My partner and I stayed here for one night.

First impressions: the room décor was very dated and there was a musty smell that eventually went away with the window open.

Don’t let this put you off though. There was ample parking in the hotel grounds. The rooms were clean and well appointed – large table, full sized fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, coffee machine.

On entering the room there is a toilet and wardrobe and a second door to the main room with the kitchenette, dining space and bed. The double doors meant we heard no noise from the corridor. And even though our room was at the front of the hotel, near the stairwell, it was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable.

The hotel is situated on a hill, but it’s a pleasant 10 min stroll back from the beachside restaurants.

We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but it looked very nice with fruit, yoghurt, cereals as well as the usual croissants, pain-au-chocolat, baguettes, jam, tea coffee and juice.

Stayed one night with friends. We almost walked out when we saw the suite, but don't do that. The beds are comfortable, the location is convenient, staff want to help you, good breakfasts and it is clean.
And when I say the beds are comfortable, I slept on the convertable lounge, and slept well. If we had stayed further down towards the beach, we would have missed the lovely streets and walks, and the park. If you stay here, make sure you walk around the area.
One thing that we would have liked was a kettle in the room. There was a coffee maker, but we had no coffee. If I ever come back here, I think I would stay at Villa Regina. Also, you can bring pets with you. It was pleasant having the dogs around.
