We spent a couple of nights in this lovely little hotel in the centre of town while we explored the area. Room was basic but very comfortable, great breakfast and friendly owners, would gladly stay here again if we return to Brantome.

A large spacious bedroom and bathroom which were both very nicely decorated. The lounge area leads onto a rooftop patio where you can relax. Lounge area also has a kitchenette area for you to make hot drinks which was handy. Breakfast was very good, with fresh bread and cake, juice, yogurt and jams. And of course a large selection of teas. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful and spoke English. The hotel is situated in the middle of Brantome and is ideal for seeing the sights by foot. Car parking was off the island, a couple of minutes walk away but we had no problems with security, and there were plenty of spaces available.

We will most definitely visit again.

We decided to stay in Brantome and this small hotel at the last minute and we weren't disappointed. It is easy to find and park near the pedestrian street. We had the "Caramel" room on the second floor. Unfortunately there is no lift but we were offered help with our luggage. We were given a very warm welcome and a short guided tour of the property. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was huge. There was no TV in the room but this is explained in advance and is no problem for us. We had an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was very good and could be served on the terrace if warm. It represented excellent value for money and we certainly hope to return when we travel by car next time to our house in Spain. As it was a Monday night not many restaurants were open but we can recommend Les Saveurs.

Room Tip: We liked the caramel room!

This small chambre d'hôtes in the centre of Brantome was unexpectedly good. The couple who run it were very welcoming despite their busy tea rooms/ restaurant . The room was much larger than we anticipated with a huge bathroom. The only disadvantage was that it was up on the second floor so no good if you have loads of luggage or are generally unfit.
Breakfast was at a table with other guests 2 of whom were also up and about early, so it was a good test of our French conversational skills. A typical French breakfast with homemade conserves including a pumpkin jam which was delicious.
Well worth a stop

Great location in Brantome close to everything....although Brantome is not big and most places are short distances away. Friendly and helpful host who offerd good sightseeing suggestions. Room was charming and very quiet with a balcony looking out onto a quiet street.....at least it was quiet when we were there. Good value option.

We drove to Brontome and found this centrally located B&B and tea house by chance walking through the village. What was a lunch stop ended up being a 4 night stay in this enchanting French area.
Lovely town with canoeing, historical buildings, walks, cycling, shopping and within cycling distance to nearby villages or driving to other attractions like Lascaux II.
The rooms were large, well appointed and clean. Free WiFi and a shared dining and coffee making room opening to a terrace was handy.
Free and safe public parking a short walk away for your vehicle.
Sandrine & Sebastien are lovely, helpfull and informative hosts and I have a feeling we will be back in Brontome again. The town has a good feel about it and able to provide everything we wanted from a holiday in France.
