we visited this restaurant as a mix of adults, family, friends and teenagers and we each enjoyed our food very much. interesting combination of french and american style food with something to please everyone, including an enjoyable veggie burger of cactus plant. service was relaxed/ efficient. We look forward to returning.

i have visited this restaurant number of times in the last 6 months and have not had a bad meal yet , the unique combination of french american cuisine offers something for everyone. the service is efficient attentive and professional, the place its self is a pleasent environment to be in, clean well layed out with space to move about. i can highly recommend the steaks, and burgers and cheese cake, i will try something different next time.
As for all the negative reviews from people i think they must have been either dreaming it or they were in a different reasturaunt.
i have dined in many places around the world and this particular place offers everything to a very good standard, value for money, service, food, etc
i am .looking forward to my next visit when we are taking my 92 grandma for her birthday.

From the outside this place looks inviting, modern and serving a different sort of menu. However from the moment we entered the waiting staff/barman acted like we were putting him out just by asking for a table. This was lunch time and there were only 2 other customers in the restaurant so they were hardly rushed off their feet. Drinks took 25 minutes to arrive and our food order was brought over and was incorrect when we pointed out the food was not what we has ordered the lady chef came out of the kitchen (we now she is one of the owners!). She gave us what I can only call 'attitude' even though the error was not ours and we were not rude about it. My partner ate all of his food before mine even arrived and at no point did they apologise or offer any sort of good will gesture (glass of wine may be?). When we went to pay we had been charged for a carafe of wine we did not order when we pointed this out there was a lot of huffing and puffing before it was removed (once again no apology etc). We live locally and eat out often so really are the sort of people who keep there places going over the quiet winter months. Won't be going there again and since talking to other local friends apparantly this sort of 'service' is the norm and the place is getting a bad reputation (the general feeling is that the people who own/run the place are not cut out for the industry and I have to say I agree). We now stick to local French places where the food is much better (and cheaper!) and the service is friendly and efficient. Don't waste your hard earned money at this place unless you want a disappointing and over priced dining experience, if somewhere is basically empty when all the other local eateries are packed out there is usually a good reason for this!

Highly recommended, especially for the BBQ ribs and ceasar salad! One of only a couple of restaurants that serve something different than duck, so great for a change! Its also a great bar open til late during the height of summer with live bands. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended!
