Sorry for the delay .. Stayed her for week may half term with husband 2 boys both aged 13 .. We took ferry from jersey to st malo then drove down ,, the last time we drove n France was a while ago before sat nav and into Disney Paris ... So drive this time was a much more relaxing experience .. Once we go going had no problems ... So don't be put off drivingn France take your time enjoy ... Anyway on to the campsite .. Having varied from all inclusive to campsite and back again .. We picked a ok camp site for us as a family .. Yes was very clean ... Staff .. And canvas reps all fab .. Swimming pool warm !!!!!! Was such a nice change to have a heated pool and for is I am so grateful .. Read my reviews on my freezing cold pools in other places which is the reason we don't go back ... Ok may half term ,,, weather not great .. At times very cold ... So be warned . Having experienced this before took extra blankets ... .. I have to say we enjoyed ourselfs , the supermarket carrefour was nearby , with great selection .. Wine was great and boys tucked in .. BBQ was a great plus .. Days out we drove to lorient and quimpier which we all enjoyed ... Having spent many a camping / mobile home holiday all over Europe ,, this was a great site , however for us as. Family just didn't tick all the boxes ... No one got bored and no one complained ... We just like a little more to do in the area ,,, ... Benodet beautiful ,, sports for the boys good ...Please try for yourselfs ..France at its best ...

Just returned today from our week long stay in Benodet with Eurocamp. Weather wasn't great, but not the fault of anyone we booked with :) Flew into Brest and hired a car then drove an hour to the site. Firstly the town of Benodet is beautiful with a lovely beach and some fantastic restaurants. Don't know if we would want 2 weeks here as you would struggle with things to do. Simon, one of the kids reps (for the under 5's) was fantastic, and had the patience of a Saint with the little one's!

Site on the whole was lovely and clean. Yes the shop and take away aren't the cheapest, but fab fresh bread and croissants in the morning at the shop. Ate at the Saffron restaurant on site on the last evening, and was pleasantly surprised. Restaurant doesn't look anything exciting, but ate outside in the sun and food was lovely.

Caravan was a "Classic Plus" with outside decking. Had a lovely plot on the outskirts of the park. Caravan was clean, if a little musty smelling, but had everything we needed (apart from 1 1/2 days when it poured down and would have killed for a TV!)

Evening kids entertainment was ok. The compere spoke mostly in French to the kids, which is fine as we were in France, but probably 90% of the audience were English speaking :)

Overall, would definitely recommend Benodet as an area as it is beautiful, and the site was great too.

Our first holiday with Eurocamp and we had a great time. Children loved the activities, which made the holiday. Our eldest went to Mac's Fun Station most days and had lots of fun. Special thanks to Joey! Our 18 month old daughter went to the swimming lessons and really enjoyed them - special thanks to Simon the instructor who was great with the under 2's. The site itself was not too big and well maintained, ideal for children. Pool was lovely and very child-friendly. Shop well stocked. We didn't use the restaurant but the takeaway was good. We bbq'd most nights on the bbq provided. Caravan (3 bedroom 2 bathroom Espirit with decking and garden furniture) was not enormous but fine for a week. It wasn't in perfect condition with a couple of items not working, but when reported to the Eurocamp staff these were promptly fixed. The plot was fine, private enough with room for a car and close to the facilities. Impressed by the Eurocamp staff who were friendly, attentive and helpful. Overall a great first holiday with Eurocamp we'll be back!

This site had all the amenities you could want - well stocked shop, pool, takeaway, and better still the little town of Benodet, with a wide sandy beach and lovely ice cream place, was only 10 minutes walk.

The caravans are roomy and comfortable and well equipped with linen, cooking stuff etc and a veranda for sitting and eating outside.

One small annoying thing: the pool was crowded from early til late, we barely got a look in.

We stayed here with Canvas Holidays and had an had an amazing time. The classic two bed caravan was adequate but not much room in the shower or WC and the bedrooms were small too but it wasn't that important. The pools and lazy river were clean and well tended and the waterski sea great hit with our two young boys. We did not try the takeaway or restaurant but heard good reports. Shop is stocked with basics only and fairly expensive in comparison to the carrefour market grocery store only a few mins drive away in Benodet. Our second time here and would certainly come again

Just back from here after a 10 night stay, overall a lovely campsite, stayed in a mobile home with eurocamp ,which was clean and had all we needed, reps were good and catered to our needs, pool areas were great but slippy in places ,I would think in July and August though would be overcrowded, take away very pricey, maybe reasonable for pizza but fries were €4 each, doughnuts €3 each!, bar prices high too,the World Cup was on during our stay so entertainment was poor,if you didn't want to watch the matches then not a lot else was on,can't comment on kids clubs as mine didn't use them, just beware that kids clubs and soccer pitches ,basket ball and tennis etc are all situated down a roadway beside the campsite,we found this a big disadvantage ,you would need to stay with small kids if they are attending kids clubs because if they need to use a toilet it is a few mins back to nearest one ,reps can't keep doing this , my 15 yr old didn't have a lot to do except swimming ,he cycled down to playing fields but very seldom was anyone down there ,maybe in July / august there would be more for teens ,the best member of staff was the girl who serves at the poolside bar during the day and then at the bar at night, don't know her name ,she is French and was always lovely and chatty and so nice , weather was great except for 1 day bad rain showers and nothing was opened until evening ,indoor games ,pool tables ,shop only opened in morning , facilities should remain opened in bad weather as more people need to use them then , Benedetto itself is a fab little seaside town and we loved it and surrounding beaches
