This cheerful, warm and welcoming tavern offered the perfect midday menu items for a delightful Breton lunch on a cruise call. The tone is set right away by the presence of KIR BRETON on the aperitif list, cassis and dry cider. Perfect. We were there at 12.30, just in time to find a table. The place was soon packed by local office workers, and by what were clearly regular customers. Despite the crowd, service was efficient and smiling. The conversation all around was a pleasant hubbub of happy eaters. How nice to be able to order a complimentary bottle of chilled water without being expected to accept the expensive labelled and branded sort. The local dishes were clearly freshly prepared from local suppliers. The salads were copious and the hot dishes were just that and delicious. There is outside seating overlooking a pleasant square if you prefer dining al fresco. A find! Don't miss it!
