“Very good”
Reviewed 2 September 2013

Lovely dining room with views across the bay to Roscoff, friendly, attentive service, and technically excellent cooking. We had a lovely evening here to kick off our holiday - there is a choice of set menus as well as the carte, and even the least elaborate of these was brilliant and allowed the kitchen to show its ability. Well worth splashing out on if you need a change from galettes!

“Amazing dishes in a scenic location”
Reviewed 1 August 2013 via mobile

We enjoyed the parfum de Leon menu and were wowed by the lobster main dish and then won over by the artichoke desert ( I was dubious initially!!) - service was excellent and the location with the views of the bay was top notch

“A true culinary experience!”
Reviewed 28 June 2013

Everything you should expect from a good French restaurant. The decor, table linen and decorations are perfect and the service is beyond compare, efficient and yet friendly.
We ate here three times and on each accasion the food was delicious (even the assortment of artichoke desserts!!) you definately don't leave the table feeling hungry.

“Great location combined with excellent cooking”
Reviewed 4 June 2013

Book early and ask for a table facing the sea- there are only about three- other tables can be in a bit of a corner. The food certainly deserved its Michelin Star and was delicious. The wine list is on the expensive side (no surprise), but the service was faultless.

“Delightful evening”
Reviewed 2 June 2013

We stayed one night at the Hotel Brittany not realising their restaurant, The Yachtman, has a Michelin star. It's in a lovely space on the ground floor with huge plate windows in old stone arches overlooking the sea, adn after an afternoon of freezing gales the sun miraculously came out and created a charming sparkly view across the harbour and the channel to the Ile de Batz. The resaurant filled up around us, I think entirely with French people. The meal was everything that really good haute cuisine should be: flavours that were constantly evolving, plates that never seemed too large but left one feeling heartily fed. We had the 48 Euro menu (the cheapest), three courses plus some very enjoyable amuse bouches and an array of petit fours (these were perhaps de trop as the dessert, a wonderful combination of traditional Breton pastry, caramelised fruits and ice cream, had left us feeling quite replete). The wine list is fo terrifying length and priciness, but we found a Premier Cru Chabli at 59 Euros that did very well. The service was a model of what this sort of place should be like - assiduous but never intrusive, and perfectly paced - courses arrived neither too soon nor with any tedious gaps - all done with great skill and charm. Gastronomically the highlight of our trip, and well worth the cost of five meals at a creperie.
