“Not to be missed”
Reviewed 11 December 2012

Spent a night in the hotel on the way back to Plymouth and the natural thing was to eat at the restaurant. We were not disappointed and would go every time when passing as the food and the service were of a first class. They do know how to cook and serve fish, crabs and mussels. If compared to Cornwall in Britain, the only place you "might" get the same delicious food is at Rick Stain's restaurant in Padstow but at double the price and not so relax and informal atmosphere..... Lovely place, highly recommended.

Too expensive for what it offers. The set menu sounded good but the main course did not stand up to the same one we had there last year.

“Well worth considering”
Reviewed 2 July 2012 via mobile

Arrived Roscoff at 1900hrs on a Sunady, was recommended this restaurant by the reception at hotel. The menu is particularly cheap but we went for mussels and chips at 10 e or there abouts each. Very nice too! The waitress could not speak English so the 'patron' came order and translated the menu, a bit miserable but very Gallic in the way he did it, so it was quite nice really. There is a tank in the window full of crabs and lobsters which were bobbling about waving at diners. Ideal place for the traveller.

“Loved by the locals”
Reviewed 21 May 2012

I have seen some negative reviews of this restaurant that I cannot understand. Having been here on several occasions tables always filled very quickly when the doors open both for lunch and dinner and in such a small town with so many restaurants this seems like a good recommendation. Loved the food, especially great, fresh shellfish. Always found the service to be friendly. Okay so sometimes you might have to wait a while but this isn't fast food. My only complaint is that I have a small appetite and the portions are gargantuan.
