“Great view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

We enjoyed our two night stay here and we paid a bit extra for a sea view room which we considered worth it as the view is fabulous. The room was a bit on the small side, but it was spotless, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good.
You know what to expect from an Ibis Hotel, but we felt the staff here went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Gueme and Xavier were brilliant and a great front of house team for Ibis.
I would recomend this hotel as a good budget option and we will stay again if we find ourselves in the area again.

Room Tip: Splash out on a sea view room - it's worth it.

The personnel at reception (especially the man with his dog) are super friendly and helpful. Any request such as another room, was done with great pleasure.

The rooms are quite small and if you have to stay longer then 1 or 2 nights there is very limited storage for your clothes. The location in the center is perfect but the result is that it is difficult to find a parking space !

Spent 3 nights with my parents. We had one room looking towards the church and one facing the sea.
Yes the rooms are small but they are perfectly adequate, same for the bathrooms. But everything was spotless and the beds were very comfortable.
The view from the rooms overlooking the harbour is just amazing. Falling asleep lulled by the sound of the waves lapping, sheer bliss.
The breakfast, served (in the form of a buffet) at the back of the reception area, is Ok, the seating not that brilliant and the decor is very basic.
Most of all, the service is brilliant, everyone was so friendly and helpful. It certainly helps make our stay even better.

We stayed here at this hotel on Sunday. We had been using this port frequently in the past but stopped as Brittany Ferries fares were too expensive. However to decided to to this trip again. The hotel is down some narrow streets with plenty of parking outside although in the busy summer months it could prove difficult to park outside.
The hotel room was typical Ibis the beds now are much more comfortable.Self service breakfast which is now expensive and you can get a good deal on the boat, full English breakfast and save some money,I was surprised at the price the ferry was charging and I do not work for Brittany Ferries.

Roscoff is a delightful town. As a transit/entry point to France it is ideal as a gateway to the rest of the country but it is just as an enjoyable a location for a short break.
The Ibis Roscoff hotel is excellent. Ideally sited to take advantage of the nearby beaches (totally uncrowded in late June as we found) and central to enjoy the great French ambiance of a typical Breton town.
The hotel cannot be faulted. Comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast to start the day off. Highly recommended and a place we are certain to visit again.

My wife and I stayed here for just one night (June 6th to 7th) to catch the ferry to Rosslare, Ireland. The reception was friendly and efficient –as usual in hotels of the Accor group. We had a twin room on the second floor with all basic facilities. It was clean, not very large, but sufficient in size. The bathroom had only a shower, no bath. No problem for us; we rarely use the tub if there is one. Beds were comfortable. WiFi was free, but for those who need large data transport, there is a low-priced (a few euros) additional option, which we have not tried.
The hotel offers a good breakfast -at an additional price- with a reasonable choice and good quality.
The location is close to a number of restaurants on the same square as the hotel and along the street to the old harbour. They include four crêperies, but there are many other options as well. The ferry port, Port de Bloscon, is one or two km away.
The hotel has no private parking. However, we could park easily on the square in front of the hotel. The blue lines on the surface suggest a zone with limited parking time, but receptionist informed us that they are only in effect during the months of July and August. This might indicate that in these two high-season holiday months parking near the hotel may be problematic. However, there is public parking space near the old harbour, a 5 to 10 minutes’ walk away from the hotel, but I cannot say anything about availability during the top season. We judge this Ibis a good option for a short stay in Roscoff.
