“Fantastic Location.”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

This is an incredibly quaint, beautiful hotel in a great location. It's only a 2 minute drive from the ferry port and there is only short drive or walk into the center of Roscoff. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable.
The food is rather expensive, so not good if you're on a budget.
Service was fantastic, they go out of their way to make you comfortable.
At the time we went in April, it was very quiet, at breakfast there were only 3 of us.
The views are breathtaking and you can't ask for a better place to stay in Roscoff.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view.

We stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend for a week end. We really enjoyed our stay there. The place is amazing with a great sea front view. Our room was beautiful, comfy and bright. Appreciate the spa facility and all the complimentary spa products provided during our stay. Breakfast was delightful with wide choice of home made cakes and jams. The staff was very helpful and recommended us good places to visit. Would definitely go back there!

Spent 2 nights here in July as a special treat for my husband's 65th birthday. I booked the junior seaview suite which was, of course, more expensive that the standard room, but it was well worth it as the room was just lovely. The staff were 1st class, so helpful and charming, and we ate in Roscoff the first night on the recommendation of the lovely lady at reception (a fabulous meal at Le Surcouf). Ate in the restaurant on the 2nd night, and yes, it was expensive but it was a special treat and the food and wine were truly wonderful. we were even given a complimentary glass of champagne each to celebrate my husbands's birthday! Breakfast was also very good, an amazing array of jams and honey to choose from as well a a terrific selection of breads and pastries. The suite was spotlessly clean and comfortable, an amazing bathroom and spectacular views. We enjoyed the swimming pool and spa, and thought that the reception area and bar/lounge had been decorated in a very traditional and sympathetic manner. The ONLY thing to watch out for is the prices of drinks in the bar - after walking back from Roscoff on the first evening we decided to have a nightcap in the bar, and ordered a malt whisky for my husband and an amaretto for me. It must be said that these were not standard UK measures, but must have been at the very least triples! However, when I came to settle the bill, I saw that we;d been charged an eye watering 39 euros for these two drinks - wow! But I hadn't checked the prices before ordering so it was down to me, I suppose. But all in all a wonderful stay, would definitely go back again.

Room Tip: The junior sea view suite was lovely, can't comment about the other rooms

Staff smart, helpful and polite, very welcoming, a credit to the establishment. The rooms are comfortable and elegant as are the dining room, reception and corridors but the bar is little too dark and dowdy for my liking. Breakfast couldn't have been any better. Overall a lovely place to stay for a short break and ideal if you would like a few days without a car as this hotel is situated a pleasant walk into Roscoff with it's many bars, cafes and restaurants.

This hotel is perfect for us, well appointed overlooking the bay, we upgraded to a room with a terrace without a sea view and that was worth the extra coin. Staff extremely friendly and courteous even to those of us that speak very bad french or no french at all. Breakfast in continential terms was first rate. Dinner though was sadly out of our price range but they do have a michelin star and they did not seem to mind that we ate in the town and fully undrstood that we were on a budget. Matress a little hard for us but they happlily solved that by padding the mattress with an extra douvet cover, we slept very well as a consequence. J'adore cet endroit et seront de retour.

We came back a week ago from 3 nights in this hotel. It was excellent. Our room opened onto a little courtyard which was lovely. The dining room was beautifully appointed with stunning views of the sea. The buffet breakfast was well presented with a good choice. We ate in the dining room on our last night and the meal was fantastic. Michelin star quality. We were not disappointed. We had drinks in the bar in the evenings and on the terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just one minute from the ferry and 10 minutes walk into the town with its lovely little streets ,full of great restaurants and shops. A great short break in a great hotel.
