Firstly you need to make a decision as to wether you stay in the old town or on the water. If you decide you want to be out of the very busy centre of the city, though beautiful , then this hotel is definitely a great choice.
Our room was a good size, we overlooked the bay, we had a kettle, fridge, tea and coffee and wifi included.
Amazing view over the bay, very quiet location and wonderful staff who were very keen to assist us in any way possible.

Room Tip: A room on the bay with a view

The waterview location is absolutely beautiful, room was spacious and service was great. The staff went well out of their way to welcome us and make our stay special, even helping us with driving directions to Paris. The grounds are beautiful and the whole staff was extremely nice!

We were there in June for a wedding and were pleasantly surprised. The location is absolutely breathtaking, rooms and spacious and service is great. It's not a very big hotel and feels more like a bed and breakfast, but we loved it. The grounds are beautiful and the whole staff is very nice! They have a pretty descent breakfast as well.

Our room was excellent, enjoyable view over the garden and estuary, good bathroom with separate loo which is good. The hotel staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble. Refreshments could be taken on the terrace and there were some sun loungers in the garden. Pleanty of things to watch, swimmers, people boating, joggers, walkers - relaxed people watching! We ate breakfast in the conservatory and the buffet was varied and tasty. Coffee was from a self service machine, so not as good as the usual large "bowl" of cafeé au lait, but still enjoyable.
Dinner was superb and extremely good value. It would not have been worth the drive into Vannes to find a better restaurant.
Car parking is in the grounds of the hotel with a barrier and code for departure, plenty of spaces in June.
There were several delightful walks from the hotel. All in all a lovely place to stay in order to enjoy the area.

Room Tip: Overlooking the estuary is enjoyable.

The atmosphere on Conleau peninsula is really great. The terrasses have a superb bay view and the hotel is perfectly renovated with high quality matrasses and a handy bathroom with separate toilet. The bath tub is on the high side to enter the shower. Pricewise the hotel is a beauty as well. There are two non-connected restaurants that offer a wide variety of local and general foods.

Since the location is at the very end of the peninsula road the place is a restful area with plenty parking space, protected with a secure slot.

This BW is a jewel in the internataional network with very helpful staff.

This Hotel is a gem, situated in beautiful surroundings. The staff are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Nobody clock watches and breakfast is laid out until the last restaurant guest leaves. The restaurant is always very popular and the food is gourmet. The entire Hotel is immaculate and very good value for money. The rooms are modern and decor simple. The Morbihan area is stunning and roads in June very empty. This Hotel is on a small island and throughout the 3 days I stayed here, I saw many individuals going for a quick swim in the crystal clear waters surrounding the Hotel throughout the day and evening. The Hotel is no more than 10 mins by car from the old walled town of Vannes (which is itself, stunning).

We booked this hotel on the strength of other reviews and its location.

We were not disappointed, but there are a few points which need to be clarified.

ROOMS – good size, good quality fittings, clean and well maintained. Excellent, large flat screen television. Just about every French TV channel, but it you want English, there is only BBC World.
There is no air conditioning, so if the weather is warm, or hot as it was during our stay, you will need to have the balcony door open. There could be an issue with security, but the main issue will be mosquitoes, so bring a plug-in bug repellent.

RESTAURANT – the main restaurant tries too hard to justify their fairly high prices. (31 Euros for a set 3 course menu) We found the dishes were over-complicated for the sake of it, without the skill to balance flavours and textures. We would recommend eating in the adjoining brasserie, Le Cafe de Concleau, where the food is less expensive (20.90 Euros for 3 courses), less fussy and far more enjoyable. As a result it is extremely popular, so make sure you book a table when reserving your room. Like the rooms, there is no air conditioning, so when the weather is warm, whether eating in the main restaurant, or the brasserie, reserve a table near an opening window.
Breakfast in the restaurant provides a good range of fresh breads, pastries, cereals, yogurts, cold meats and cheeses, etc., etc. The only hot food is scrambled egg and during our stay, alternating bacon and small sausages. My only complaint is that there is one machine for hot drinks and a long queue can form at peak times.

SEMINARS – due to the stunning position of the hotel it is extremely popular for business meetings and seminars during the day and family gatherings during the evenings and weekends. This means that the outside seating areas and lawns can be taken over by those not staying at the hotel and all the car parking spaces will be full. As there is no other parking near the hotel, unless you pay for a car park, this can be very frustrating.

STAFF – we found all but one of the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The exception was the head waiter in the main restaurant. He has an aloof attitude, but once he has taken your order, you are served by the friendly and efficient staff.

CONCLUSION – do not let my comments put you off this hotel, because if the weather is fine, its beautiful position, overlooking wooded rocky tidal inlets, make it worth every Euro. In front of the hotel there is a sandy tidal beach and to the side a huge seawater swimming pool with sandy beach. There are many level paths for walking around the water’s edge.

Room Tip: Book a room with a balcony and full "Sea View"
