Not long back from two weeks holiday in Domaine de Dugny (last two weeks in August 2012) and we heart broken to be home from what was our best holiday in years. This would have been our seventh consecutive year holidaying in france with Siblu and we found that Domaine de Dugny fits our needs and we are planning to go back again next year. I would admit that the weather plays a big part of any holiday and we could not have asked for better, we arrived on Saturday 18th August to a temperature of 40 deg C and the cool external pool was exactly what was called for.
When we started holidaying in France we stayed in Domaine de Kerlann for five two week periods and loved it but found the site to be very open and not too secure as it was open to locals to use the facilities ie the pools and Bar. We then moved on to Les Pierres Couchees which we did not like and at the end of the holiday we had enough and were happy to be going home, I would admit that the weather that year was particularly bad and did not help.
This year Domaine de dugny exceeded all expectations and we have nothing but praise for the site and the facilities. We have one 9 year old boy (Tim) who made good friends from day one and he had lots of freedom as the site was secure because of its location etc. Small things make a big difference to us and all the staff we had dealings with were very helpfull and accommodating. Tim could go to the bar for a fizzy drink and he was afforded the same attention as the adult beside him looking for a glass of wine or beer. We used the on site restaurant three times ovet the two keeks and it was perfect for our needs, again the staff were "lovely" helpfull and polite. Tim did not partake in the Kids clubs so I cannot comment there but the night time entertainment was as good as we have experienced in the past on the other sites.
We will be going back to Domaine de Dugny in 2013 and if I can get the time off work we would like to stay for three weeks.
In relation to the countryside around the three sites we have been too we would prefer the costal areas of france with the small towns and fishing villages rather than the inland towns around Domaine de Dugny but the site itself more than compensates for this.

Firstly thank you for your loyalty to the brand! you obviously thrive on what we have to offer you here in France!
Here we are a smaller team than at some of the other parks you mentioned - but very energetic! - Thank you for your kind comments, we look forward to welcoming you again in 2013 and perhaps to recommend some of the wonderful chateaux to visit if you are going to be here for 3 weeks

We attended annual Airshow at Blois and booked this site as it had a 600m grass strip to land. It was a 2 hr flight from Cherbourg and easy to find from air. Reception was very English friendly and followingly simple registration, we all went for a beer. We had booked a midrange Mobile and was pleasantly surprised to find a well equipped, clean cabin. Off to the pool for a quick swim, back for a shower then off to restaurant. Service was jovial and Paella was the main meal. This was good but one of us had steak which was not exceptional. A few more beers followed and the bill was not as bad as expected for being a captive audience. We encountered a problem with one of the planes and reception came to the rescue. It was later I found that the main help was the manager himself. Site was clean and quiet overnight. A return visit is being planned with wives this time!

We had 2 weeks at Le Domaine de Dugny in August and had a fantastic time. We have 2 boys aged 5 and 8 and they loved it. The pools are great, there is lots to do and there is plenty in the surrounding area to keep children happy, particularly Chateau Clos Luce in Amboise and the zoo at Beauval. I have seen numerous reviews moaning that the outside pool is too cold.....I beg to differ!! In 38 degree heat it was perfect and even when it was around 28 degrees it was fine. Both my boys were happy swimming in it, and there are 2 pools indoors if it is a bit too cool. The shows in the evening were good fun and again, the boys loved them. We had such a great time that we were going to book again for next year while we were still there, but the price was considerably more than this year, so we haven't as yet. Brilliant holiday though!

Good points- plenty to do for the kids, nice sized mobile homes
Cons- swimming pool was unheated so absolutely freezing even in 30c weather in August, entertainment team were very young and had no idea how to entertain or care for children on any level

Just back from our 4th visit to Dugny... another billiant holiday and the children are already nagging about going again next year. We love the size of the campsite, its big enough to have a buzz about it during high season, but small enough to feel safe to let the children explore on their own on their bikes. In fact, this is my one worry about the place, it has expanded quite a bit since our first visit, pre siblu I think, in 2004 and I wouldn't want it to get much bigger as it would spoil the place.
The swimming area is superb, albeit a little cold for grown ups, somehow children never seem to mind.
Without doubt the highlight of this place is the energy and commitment of the staff, not just the front line entertainment team, but the lifeguards, sales people etc.. who also have a role to play in the excellent night time entertainment. My daughters are always bowled over by the kids club organisers and my eldest aims to be one of the team as soon as she is old enough!
If you have a young family I can't recommend this place highly enough! It has pretty much everything.

Hi, We spent 8 nights at Dugny camping, mixed Belgian/UK family with kids ages 9, 12, 15, 16, 17 and 4 adults. We were lucky to get the "best" mobilehome in the new area with loads of space and very quiet. Bit of a random selection of plates and cutlery and rubbish BBQ but other wise lovely. We want to thank the entire entertainment team, Chris, Alex, Frankie, Jenny, Emma, Bo, Orphalie, Pierre, Ben and Dread machine for making our holiday unforgettable, the day time clubs for the younger were great and the evening shows and entertainment EXCELLENT of a very high standard, singing, dancing, and families participating in games. The team really got the while campsite rocking! Our older boys even spent a day preparing the stage and then acting in the show that night- HUGE THANKS TO ALL YOU GUYS AND SEE YOU IN 2013.Diana & CO

Room Tip: Ask for the new part, we were in 370

not long returned from our 5th visit to domaine du dugny and again had a great time.Caravan was great brand new and pitch in excellent spot. Some changes have been made since last visit, there are no tents any more which made the camp look tidier and managed to get sunbed at pool! The new part of the camp is lovely, well planned and laid out.
We had a few issues but jenny and the manager sorted them out promptly. The entertainment team were great ,us adults and kids enjoyed the entertainment chris and frankie are hilarious.
Most importantly the kids had a great time which meant so did we, thankyou jenny for securing a great pitch and for putting us close to our friends, can we have the same pitch next year!!
see you all next year.
