I had the occasion to spend some time in this eastern part of France, and found this hotel by happenstance. And I must say I was quite pleased with all the services provided. I have been offered to visit different rooms before choosing mine (201), which was nice because each room is different from the others, each in its own style ... Everyone will find his/her favorite. That gives a good "feel at home" feeling, far from the usual impersonnal and cold feelings of "sameness" you usually get in hotels.
As for the food, no problem there at all (I'm quite surpised by the bad review above, it seems we haven't slept or eaten at the same place !), you get the good french food anyone would look for at reasonnable prices - I even got to see the kitchens (something I like to do everywhere I go !), spacious and very clean, so that is definitely another good point for the Beau Site !

Room Tip: If the hotel is not fully booked, ask to see the rooms, they're all different ... My favorite wa...

Terrible, terrible location, hotel, and service...nothing else to add. We happened to stop close by but immediately wished we had driven a little further. Ugly ugly hotel, terrible restaurant food. I found several pieces of plastic in my soup. Horrid room. Will never go by again.

We keep on stopping in Luxeuil les Bains on our way back to Belgium.

It is a good hotel with a big park, plenty of parking places, an outdoor swimming pool. Rooms you should go for are the superior ones: they are very large and comfortable. Beds are extra large and bathrooms top modern.

Dinner is very good, with plenty of choice, but the service can be slow. The service during breakfast is somehow always a bit confused: the breakfast room is very small, and they seem to run out of everything very fast. But if you are patient, you get your buffet in the end.

They accept reservation without a deposit, which is a plus.

My husband was transferred to this area of France for his work, so we were Placed in Hotel Beau-Site as our temporary apartment until our more permanent dwelling is ready. We are staying in one of the apartments, so I can not speak of the quality or size of the regular hotel rooms. The apartment is nice and clean. We have a small flat screen television, but unfortunately the only channel MTV is in French. Ha! We have a dining / living area / kitchen as one room, and a separate bedroom with attached bathroom. The bathroom is small, as one would expect, but the shower is very nice with a "rain" shower head, body sprays, and a hand spray. We have had a few problems with the water being cold at times, but the hotel management addressed the issue promptly. The bedroom is fairly spacious with a closet for hanging clothes and shelves with. The dining area / kitchen has a small, two-person dining table. There is a sink, a microwave, a two-burner stove plug-in, and a small refrigerator and they all serve their purposes nicely. There is no oven, or dishwasher, but that is to be expected in a small apartment such as this. There is also essentially no counter space for cooking, but I have been using the dining table for counter space. There is also basic kitchen available such as dishes, small pots and pans, mixing bowls, a cheese grater, a wine bottle opener, a small kitchen knife, and a trivet. We have no can opener, so it was difficult to open our can of peanut butter. I would estimate that the apartment is slightly less than 500 square feet, so it is fairly spacious. It was also clean upon our arrival, which is very nice.

Main street is a short walk from here with many shops and bakeries to peruse as well as restaurants. The two major grocery stores are a little further than most would want to walk, but the closer of the two is about 1.5 miles away, so it is possible.

Although not perfect, this apartment is a perfectly livable and comfortable place to stay for a time. I would recommend it.
