Stayed here en route to Switzerland. The receptionist spoke some English but was charming and communication was not a problem. The hotel is very modern and tasteful. I am tall and we were given room 9 which has a 2 metre square very comfortable bed. Bathroom excellent. Large free car park. Did not walk into town as an overnight stop after long drive.

Evening meal was taken at the Casino restaurant which is 25 metres from hotel. You do not need to go into Casino to get to the restaurant. Did not hear any noise whatsoever. Owing to hot weather we ate on the terrace overlooking garden. We enjoyed the meal which was very well presented and tasty. No one bothered with your style of dress which varied from almost evening dress to shorts and tee shirt. At end of meal you get to throw three dice if you get the combination you are told then the meal was free. Not a cheap meal but good value.

Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of fresh products. The croissant were actually being baked fresh next to the breakfast room. Overall very enjoyable.

Would I stay again - Yes definitely.

We had always wanted to pay another visit to this town after a short visit a couple of years ago. We had read the reviews but were late bookers and our choice was limited.
This hotel although clean and friendly turned out to be no more than a room and breakfast. There is no communal area or bar and no terrace or facility to sit outside in good weather. This is an unfortunate oversight in our view and to the detriment of the hotel being a 'room only' establishment.
There is a bar and restaurant adjacent in the 'Casino' but the ambience is marred by the cheap amusement hall environment with the associated 'tackieness' that comes with it in the form of clunking fruit machines, blaring music and addicted gamblers. With that in mind there is no alternative but to walk into the town centre for any recreation.
The casino noise prevails into the early hours and can be annoying.
Given that, I would not repeat the experience, okay for a one night stopover but the lack of facilities lets the place down badly.

Room Tip: Take a room opposite the casino side

We stayed for 2 days in superior double room. The rooms and bathroom are big and well equipped with excellent wifi service. The reception team speak English and very willing to help their guests.
It is owned by a casino which we didn't visit but we had 2 meals at the casino which were OK. The room rate was very fair comparing to other hotels. I highly recommend this hotel.

After a week in Austria, making our way back through France we booked Les Clos and found an excellent Hotel with English spoken well at reception. Great room, massive bed and large bathroom, just five minutes walk from a variety of restaurants, we chose Le Carnot with great pizza's and a good menu of quality food. There is a restaurant in the Casino adjacent to the Hotel we did not try.
Great value Hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms we saw looked great.

This hotel was a good find. We were warmly welcomed and everything in the hotel was clearly explained by attentive and helpful staff.
Our room was large, clean and well furnished in a modern style. What you see in the photographs is what you get.
The bathroom as huge, clean modern and the water hot and arrived quickly. What more can you ask for?
Breakfast was the usual French fair which, to be honest was only fair.
