a good hotel, clean, well managed. Far from center of Paris but just on a Metro Station, from where you can get all the town in a few minuts. The only misappoint are the lift: subsized for the hotel. If you hit a group leaving at your same time, schedule half an hour to get the reception!

Room Tip: the hotel is not in a turist area; I never moved by night, but it seems that you'd have to watch...

- LOCATION

Within couple of minutes walking distance from the Galleini bus station where the London coaches arrive/depart from. Has a walkway to a mall where there is a massive superstore selling almost everything of need as well as eating places including a McDonalds.

The area itself is not the cleanest of neighbourhoods and there is a urine stench on the stairway that leads up to the mall but for backpackers who have come for a city trip this doesn't seem to be a major problem.

- HOTEL

Pretty much what you would expect from Ibis. Nice comfy clean rooms with ACs which were a blessing in the God awful summer heat that almost kills you. Rooms don't have a kettle or toiletries apart from face wash and shower gel but hot water to make coffee is available downstairs at the ?bar.

Best part is even though you can only check in after 12pm there is a secure room to store luggage while one goes sightseeing.

- STAFF

Ever so friendly, polite and eager to help. Will even guide you to go about your trip

Not a bad experience. I had a special price for two rooms for 3 people. The rooms aren't big but still bigger than most hotel rooms in Paris. Bathroom was clean, beds were ok.
The only problem was that the doorknob of our bathroom came off, other than that no big issues.

The hotel is just of the highway, so no trouble with traffic getting in to Paris.
There is a big (paid) parking under the hotel and the subway is just a few minutes away.
No bad experience with the service.

Room Tip: The rooms on the 8th floor are a bit bigger.

The room was really small, the beds always moving, the furniture is over used, the carpet of the reception is dirty, all lifts are really scary and make lots of noise, the parking lot policy is so crazy, the daily parking fees is 16 Euro, but if you use your car any time, you will pay by the hour plus the daily 16 Euro, so crazy, the location of the hotel is good near by a shopping centre , but you pay 4* price for 3* hotel at the same location

Room Tip: Does not worth it

We emailed you 2 times to inform you that we had to cancel our reservations for 2 rooms
from May 18th.-May 20th. 2013 due to a death in the family which was necessary that
we had to fly back home immediately. We thought you would desperately consider
this emergency and would consider charging our credit card for the return money.
We were sorry we had to cancel but would appreciate a reply as soon as possible.
Please consider our circumstances which we have never received a response from the
manager from the hotel which we emailed saying he received our email.

I am currently staying at this hotel as part of a tour I booked with a tour operator. Location is not good however a metro station is close by. Shopping center nearby is closed on sundays. Only restaurant available on sundays is a Mcdonalds. Front desk service is the worst ever. They are extremely rude and not polite at all.A lady in the morning shift recommended us to go downtown Paris and she wad unaware there was a huge manifestation against gay marriage, of course we didn' go. A very unpolite man of the after noon shift screamed at us as we wanted to heat a tv dinner on a microwave located in the lobby. He said this was only to be used to heat food bought at the restaurant. ..nor sure what he meant, were we supposed to heat leftovers? Since I responded to him in french and told him I was not happy with his attitude he allowed to heat my meal. Have stayed at other hotels in Paris and this is the first time I cone across people with this sort of attitude. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
