Finding affordable lodging in Paris for a party of 6 is no small feat. I was lucky enough to find a $75/night deal for a studio that sleeps 3, especially since this type of accomodation normally runs $200-$300/night. We arrived at the hotel at 11am on Good Friday and were surprised to find out that our rooms were ready for occupancy. After having travelled 12 hours on the night train from Barcelona with hardly any sleep and some members of our party not feeling well, this was a welcome surprise. Our rooms were not on the same floor, but that was not a problem for us. The sleeping accomodations for each room consisted of a queen bed that folds up to wall, and a full size sofa bed. The bathroom was nicely appointed. The kitchenette had everything you could possibly need, and it even included a small dishwasher. There was a mini grocery across the street, and a bigger one around the block. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the airconditioner in the whole building did not work, which was tough since temps reached 80F in the daytime. From what I gathered, in an effort to conserve energy, it is normal in Paris that the A/C systems not get "switched on" till mid May. Each room offered free WiFi access, though only one device per room could access at a time. Getting into and out of the sights was a breeze. The metro station @ CNIT was a pleasant walk from the hotel. I was very pleased to have found this place and would definitely stay here again.
