“Great deal”
Reviewed 9 May 2011

Finding affordable lodging in Paris for a party of 6 is no small feat. I was lucky enough to find a $75/night deal for a studio that sleeps 3, especially since this type of accomodation normally runs $200-$300/night. We arrived at the hotel at 11am on Good Friday and were surprised to find out that our rooms were ready for occupancy. After having travelled 12 hours on the night train from Barcelona with hardly any sleep and some members of our party not feeling well, this was a welcome surprise. Our rooms were not on the same floor, but that was not a problem for us. The sleeping accomodations for each room consisted of a queen bed that folds up to wall, and a full size sofa bed. The bathroom was nicely appointed. The kitchenette had everything you could possibly need, and it even included a small dishwasher. There was a mini grocery across the street, and a bigger one around the block. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the airconditioner in the whole building did not work, which was tough since temps reached 80F in the daytime. From what I gathered, in an effort to conserve energy, it is normal in Paris that the A/C systems not get "switched on" till mid May. Each room offered free WiFi access, though only one device per room could access at a time. Getting into and out of the sights was a breeze. The metro station @ CNIT was a pleasant walk from the hotel. I was very pleased to have found this place and would definitely stay here again.

We spent 4 days in the hotel and it was really great. Although the room was quite small, it had a great equipment. the sofa bed was realyl great and big and comfy, as was the bed of course. The room was very clean and it had a pretty big balcony, too. The bathroom was very clean and the small kitchen was great. there was everything you need ! The staff was very friendly and helpful. the hotel is a 10 minutes walk from the L'Arce, which is like a huge gate and well worth seeing. There is the métro station, too. from there you can take line 1 which gets you around the city!
This hotel is great for trip !

We stayed at Residhome near La Defense for three nights in March. The apartment type hotel is located less than a quarter mile north of La Defense, and less than 10 minutes walk from the Metro Station. We arrived at the hotel about 11am and was able to check in early. We stayed in the Triple-room which has a queen bed and pullout sofa bed. It also has a small, fully-equipped kitchen with all the utensiles. There is a grocery store right across the street so it's very convenient if you would like to cook breakfast in the room comparing to the breakfast at the hotel which cost EUR 16 per person. The room is smaller than the standard hotel room like Marriott or Hilton in the US, which is no difference from any other typical hotel rooms in Europe. With the sofa bed being pulled out, there is little room left. The bed is pretty comfortable and the sofa bed is bigger than a twin bed and can comfortablly sleep for one or possible for two kids. Overall the room is comfortable to stay. We had a problem with the shower the first night as the knob that control the water to the shower head could not be lifted up. As I asked the front desk and was told that you have to turn the water on at very low volume and then lift the knob as the pressure is too much at high water flow. I tried and it worked, but I think this is a design flaw. The room was cleaned everyday but I found it wasn't thorough. This is one area needs some improvement. The La Defense metro station is six stops from Arc De Triumph and takes about 15 mins and then a few stops to Museum de Louvre on the same Metro 1 line (yellow line). In general the location is quiet and convenient, and if this is what you're looking for you can't be wrong to choose this one. But if you don't like to take the metro subway every day to the attractions and prefer to stay in hotels located near busy shopping or nightlife district, this is not the hotel to choose. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. We booked a taxi to the airport and was told cost about EUR50 which is also what I was told by the taxi driver on the street. But the taxi we booked through the hotel charged us EUR60 and I was told that this is the agreed rate with the hotel. Overall we liked our stay at Residhome and would recommend it to the first-time visitor as it offers good value if you can get a good price.

Comfortable and clean hotel in Courbevoie. Mini kitchen in the room , excellent breakfast served in a room with a view of the Park. Staff very polite and efficient. It is a 10-15 min walk to La defense subway station ( you get line 1, which is very convenient ). You can enjoy the walk : you will pass in front of the Arche de La Defense and get an Alley with escalators and ramps. The streets are safe and even beautiful with sculptures in the way. Very quiet residential neigbourhood with a Monoprix just around the corner. Would definitely stay there again.

Medium size room ideal for two and little bit to small if occupied by three, nice balcony, clean bathroon (but not good quality of shower gel and body lotion), small kitchen (washing machine, microwave, cooking amenities, small dishwashing lquide, on first day we get small fruit platter and two small bottels of water). About 8minut from metro/RER station, RER take you in 12-15 minutes to center of Paris (it's only 2-3stops). Very good price for all you get, especially in overpriced Paris hotels, we paid 89euro per nigh for three person without breakfast. Littel minus because we was earlier and must wait at point to cheak-in time, we cant go to the room even 15 minutes faster.

The hotel is situated in a very quite but safe neighbourhood, just 10 minutes walk from the metro station “La Défense-Grande Arche” and the CNIT shopping centre. Has friendly staff and good breakfast. Spacious room and bathroom. It’s very good value for money.
