The hotel is extremely good located - just 5 minutes from metro station, restaurants are also nearby. We had 4 nights there - and no spite at all! Clean room, clean and comfortable bad. Nice view from window. WI-FI works in room as well (not only in entrance as in many hotels). Only breakfast was really "french" - coffee, croissants, milk and cornflakes. So NO bread, no ham and no fruits at all.

A par for the course hotel. The rooms are very small and I mean very small. It was very quite and the bed was comfortable. All in all it was ok for what I paid for 3 nights stay. The metro is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Nice and clean rooms and good bed. Close to RER and Metro, restaurants and business offices in this area. Free WiFi in rooms and work more or less stable. Staff are always polite. I'll return to this hotel next time when will stay in this area.

We stayed at the Gabriel for an extended weekend and found it to be a fantastic base. There is a Metro station not two minutes' walk down the road, from which you can get to the more touristy areas in about 20 minutes. The free Wifi comes in handy for location searches too!

The room was cleaned daily and, although not massive, was plenty big enough for my partner and I. The bed was nearly as big as the room itself and very comfortable. The windows shut out all of the noise from the road below (we were on the fourth floor next to the corner room at the front) but thankfully there was air conditioning available (it was pretty hot in Paris when we went) so every night's sleep was great. Even though we had two suitcases between us there was room to store them in the wardrobe and under the desk so that we didn't lose any of the floor space.

Breakfast was the same each day - yoghurt, croissants, baguette, pain au chocolat, tea/coffee, juice, water and milk and plenty of jams and honey. If you got up early enough (we didn't!) there was cereal too, but still plenty of food to fill you up for the morning!

Unfortunately the screen on the shower over the bath only reaches halfway along, so make sure you have a towel set aside to mop up the resulting flood! The shower pressure is good and powerful though.

Within 5 minutes of walking from the hotel there is a mini-mart and a whole road of restaurants. The pizzas we had on our last night were probably the best meal we had all week, at a fraction of the cost of eating more centrally. They particularly appreciated our very rusty attempts at French.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant - as with any country they appreciate attempts at their language - no problems there at all.

We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Hotel Gabriel to anyone looking for a base while sightseeing.
