I've stayed at a Campanile before and their general design is 'OK' so that you have a reasonable level of quality (although the puke-green decor can be a bit off-putting).
This one is 'OK' but only just, and if - like me - you wish to work in the room (and don't believe in feeding your mobile phone provider's insatiable desire to rip you off by using their roaming data service) then you'll get rapidly irritated here with the very poor amount of bandwidth space available. Like a lot of hotels these days they seem to think that 'free' wifi can be very low quality but if it doesn't work, what's the point. On this issue alone I'd avoid this hotel.
The lack of restaurant facilities over weekends and public holidays is terrible - mind you, there's a very good La Boucherie establishment about two minutes drive away so that's a blessing, if a bit expensive.
Talking about driving cars, under no circumstances arrive here in any other form of transport (except perhaps on a touring bike) as it's in the middle of an office park so there's not much going on there.
On the subject of catering, when the restaurant is open the food is good. The breakfast is a little basic, unless you like ham and cheese, which I don't at that time of the day.
The Campanile model apparently doesn't believe in hand towels - which is OK if it's only it's just you, but not for a couple.
The airconditioning is pretty useless and certainly doesn't cool the room down very much while making a hell of a lot of noise. And if you open the window you get the traffic noise from the main road right next to the hotel. Luckily I was in a room at the other end of the building, but then - due to the standard Campanile design - you have people traipsing past your window all night it seems. Oh and the hotel is on the flight path for Orly airport so you get planes flying over all the time.
My recommendation would therefore be to avoid this place. I wish I'd read the Tripadvisor reviews before getting my company to book it for me. Mind you, I wouldn't have been looking in this price range if it wasn't for their cheapskate rules. Rather go to the Mercure down the road - it seems better.
Generally, the staff are very pleasant.
