“Perfect!”
Reviewed 3 August 2014

Was perfect for an overnight stay. Shame that the restaurant was closed when we were there, but otherwise, great! Easy access from the main roads, and onwards from there to Disneyland Paris. Meaux is a lovely city too.

Stayed in this hotel luckily for only one night. My husband, myself and 2 children shared a room, the room really was so small for the 4 of us the kids are 4 & 7 so if any older we really would have been cramped!! The door in our room leading out side had a broken window, which my son cut his hand on, Later in the evening I stood in glass in the room!! Went to reception to be told nothing could be done!! Also states on the website they speak English here, well sadly the staff on while we were here didn't speak very good English at all. Very poor hotel and will NOT be recommending to anyone.

came in january for a two night stay in this hotel in the outskirts of meaux 50km from paris. it's position is in a small industrial zone of meaux but has a alot of green and nature near
the rooms are very very very clean and for sleeping are the best that i remember in a long time.
the hotel offers a small welcome pack of tea water and biscuits.
paid 62€ a night without breakfast which is charged extra.
i recommend this hotel if you want to be near Disneyland or airport charles de gualle..

Stayed here when visiting paris for the races at longchamp. The hotel is a good hour from paris and 10 mins from meaux. The hotel is like a travelodge in the UK,the rooms are adequate for a short stay, smallish bathroom, clean bedding (bed was very comfortable)kettle and hairdryer and toletries provided.
Hotel has a small bar quite expensive for a pint 7 euros bottles were cheaper at 4 euros. We had a set breakfast room with limited food.

There is a fantastic french resturant 3 mins away

My husband and I stayed in the Kyriad Hotel for 3 nights as part of a coach trip to the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe races at the beginning of October. If I had organized the accommodation myself I wouldn’t have picked this hotel as it’s an hour’s drive into Paris (one and a half hours in heavy traffic) and a drive into Meaux itself, so not the best location for visiting Paris.

The hotel itself had good parking facilities for anyone with a car. Within easy walking distance there was a supermarket, a KFC, a pizza stand, a burger place, Japanese restaurant and French restaurant, Auberge du Champs de Mars, that I can recommend – see separate review.

Our room was clean, but very compact and also not very well lit in the main bedroom. The décor reminded me of a Travel Lodge, tidy and functional. There were plenty of hangers in the wardrobe but it was a little difficult accessing the space because the room was so small and you could only open one door due to other bedroom furniture. There was no safe in our room, but I asked at reception and they gave us an envelope to put any valuables in and kept them safe for the duration of our stay.

The water pressure in the shower over the bath was good. There was a decent hairdryer in the bathroom secured to the wall and a small kettle in the room, but not much in the way of coffee etc, although I’m sure they would have provided this if we’d asked at reception. I would check your adaptors if you are coming from the UK that they are the new type with a hole above the two round prongs, as only one of ours fit the sockets – see picture.

Breakfast was a simple continental affair, cereal, bread, ham, cheese and jams. There were also croissants and cake. Not very exciting but the baguettes were lovely and fresh and the orange juice was good too. Things got wiped out quite quickly but were replenished often.

We had a couple of drinks from the small bar, but ended up sitting on the benches outside of the hotel, drinking what we had bought on the ferry on the way across. The guy on reception had to man the bar and was a little rushed off his feet at times.

It’s not a bad hotel, but the location lets it down, so I wouldn’t choose to return for that reason alone.

This is a nice enough hotel which is perfectly acceptable for short stays. However the rooms are very small. Unusually there is a kettle but when I enquired as to why there was no coffee on the second day I was told our group didn't have it. But on the third day we had coffee again. Not sure if there was something lost in the translation as the English spoken was no better than my French.

The breakfast was continental, naturally, and although it was tasty and the coffee was hot with nice orange juice it was a bit limited. The choice available was two cereals (don't know what they were though one looked chocolate based), two types of cake, two types of pastries, one cheese and one type of meat and baguettes which had to be cut by the guests, plenty of jams and butter.

There isn't anything much in the local area and the town is a bit far away. There is a restaurant but it was closed the whole time we were there. You will find a KFC and a burger place close by though. Next to the hotel was a van which as well as kebabs also did pizzas.

The bed didn't quite fit into the hotel style headboard so it moved around quite easily. It was comfortable though and the bedding was clean and with the usual bathroom washes and a hairdryer it all worked out okay. There is free wi-fi which is a welcome bonus.

Depends what you look for in a hotel but it was clean, nice enough breakfast, free wi-fi and accessible for Paris and Longchamp.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room so that you aren't on the main road.

There is a bed, shower and sink all in a tiny room with very slow internet. If you are here on vacation, then this is a good hotel as it would only need to be used for sleep. I'm here on business and it's driving me crazy
