“Great Hotel”
Reviewed 21 November 2012

I really enjoyed this hotel stay. The staff were pleasant and the facilities were excellent. I would come back to stay again if I was ever to return to Paris! It was close to the main areas of Paris without being too close. So it was great!

A comfortable boutique hotel in an affluent neighborhood just outside the city limits of Paris. Very comfortable and clean rooms in a quiet neighborhood that provides relief after a long day of sightseeing in Paris. Hotel conveniently located to subway station line that goes directly to many of Paris’ major sites: Arch de Triumph, The Louvre, Maris. There is a great open market a couple of days a week at the end of the street (Friday and Sunday, I believe) that provides delicious snacks that you can take into Paris if you want save on lunch. Also, a supermarket, pharmacy, and other shops are located close by. Staff is knowledgeable and very courteous. On the downside, restaurants around the hotel are very expensive and common. Breakfast is not included, but a simple croissant and coffee place is across from the hotel. No air-conditioning. Avoid rooms on the top floor; they are more cramped than others.

Room Tip: Don't take a room on the top floor

The hotel is a small boutique hotel. There is no room service (except for some tea or coffee). Only serves breakfast. If you are looking for a small, clean hotel near the champs elysees..this is it. Great location. Lots of places around to eat. 10 minute walk to Palais de Congress. Very close to the Arc de triomphe. Has metro station Sablons close by.

I stayed for 2 nights with my boyfriend. It is very close to the metro station 5 minutes from les sablons or 8 minutes to Porte Maillot. For people coming from Paris Beuvais airport is very convenient because you can reach the hotel walking since you drop the bus which comes from the airport. My boyfriend did that.
Also from there if you have time and liked to walk you can reach Arc du Triumph, Concorde plaza, Champs Elisee. There are very nice restaurants very close and a grocery shop at the corner.
The room is small but we didn't need more than that.
I recommend it.

This hotel is in a short distance to the Metro, so you can reach the center very quick. The service is perfect, breakfast is served as a buffet, so the price is ok. (8,-- as an offer). It's situated in a quiet small street so the nights are perfectly quiet as well.

Not too far from metro, rooms not too small. You do get a weird sense of walking into a 16th century building as the corridors are very narrow and are carpeted with dark patterned material. the bathroom is quite small but room very quiet and you also get a latish checkout time of 12pm. The walls are quite thin. Staff are helpful and friendly. There is free wifi if you cab figure out how to get onto it and there is also access to internet PC should you need it.

Stayed here for 2 nights on business as part of a block booking by my company, who are based close by. This hotel is similar to a thousand other small 3-star hotels in Paris, but as usual, it's the small details that separate the good from the not-so-good.

Let's start with the basics - yes, the rooms are small. That's nothing less than you expect in a typical Parisien hotel. However, it's all about how the space is used. My room (46) was on the top floor, and was uncluttered so didn't feel too small. However, most of the lights in the room did not work (only one lamp over the bedstead) and there was only one power socket under the desk, so plugging in the desk lamp for extra light meant nowhere to plug in a laptop. There was no built-in aircon/heating, but the tower fan provided was very effective at keeping the room cool. The hotel are obviously proud of their shower units - every room has a unit with an overhead shower, a hand-held attachment and body jets. Unfortunately, someone had run off with my shower head, so I was forced to shower each morning holding the handheld shower, which was awkward. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was reasonable for the price.

Here's what really annoys me though - how can housekeeping not notice something as obvious as a missing shower head, or lights that don't work? There is absolutely no way a room should be offered to a guest with those kinds of problems. To me, it suggests lazy management. Considering they had the cheek to charge full rack rate of €190 per night, I would expect the attention to detail to be a little better. Six of my colleagues stayed here at the same time, none of us left with a particularly positive impression.
