“Old tired damp and dingy”
Reviewed 11 February 2014 via mobile

I was not impressed. It starts with parking. It's either a nightmare to find any or else extortionate in an underground car park where the hotel hires spaces - a block away. The elevator is barely large enough for one person with luggage. The whole place smells damp and musty. The room is dark and tired, needs some tlc. Minibar is mouldy and there are no glasses - do you really want to drink from cans out of a mouldy fridge? Bedside lights are dodgy. The bathroom looks surprisingly glitzy at first glance. Then you find the toilet roll holder is broken, the shower head sprays in random directions and there is no heating in there. I would not go back. But then, I don't know how the other hotels in this area compare - maybe this is just the best of a bad bunch...

It is a nice tidy hotel inside Puteaux, close to Defense Subway Station.

It has a fair price for a Paris hotel (which normally are far more expensive) and rooms are acceptable from size point of view. Utilities were always available and no other special problems during the 5 days stay there.

Breakfast was good with fresh and various dishes.

The hotel is located next to a business area of Paris. Was perfect for my trip and not verry far from city centre..
Room was clean and nice staff, but was a small problem with the housekeeping cicle. After they were celaning the room, I always found my door unlocked. Nothing was missing, but I think they need to find a solution for this part.
I recomand it for business trips

Situated in a business area of Paris outside the main tourist areas. Consequently, the hotel itself is a reasonable price and it is surrounded by several very good, reasonably priced restaurants. A 5 min walk to the metro station and 20 mins at most to the main tourist sights in Paris. Everything you would expect of a 3 star hotel- nice buffet breakfast, comfy beds, good ensuite bathroom. Staff on reception were helpful and spoke English- happy to book taxis and give advice. Scrupulously clean.

Room Tip: The hotel is on a busy street- room on the front are a bit noisy but there are little apartments on...

My husband is staying in this Hotel right now. The rooms are small, but this is typical of Paris.
The bathroom is clean and nice, even though it's small.
I booked it with a booking site that charged me double. I will book directly with the hotel next time.
The breakfast is good, even though it's in the cellar, another common occurrence in Paris.
Nothing bad to say about this place. It's clean and it's cheap when you book directly
Great distance to La Defense, walking is incredibly easy.

At my second stay, the names of the rooms (like Henri III or Louis XIV) and the warm atmosphere again stroke me. Good and straightforward service at check-in. This time the room was a bit small as was the table in it. The bed was okay and the bathroom sufficient. The wardrobe was tucked away in a corner and small. The electricity point near the table did not work, so I had to use the one of the television. They had an issue with the hot water after 7:30 in the morning. No shower for me, but I got 10% rabat. The breakfast in the cellar has sfficient choice but remains simple. Small bar with a broad choice of drinks. The hotel is not brand new and may need some upkeeping at some places, but the atmosphere is authentic. No fancy business hotel-look or newly design, but for the area of La Defense decent enough.

Room Tip: Try one in the courtyard as the elevator is a bit tiny and might sometimes be blocked
