Just what we expect for an Airport Hotel. With great pub and nice staff.
It has to be said also that there is a very nice swimming pool and only for internal guest. On overall a good experience . For sure to stay there.

Rude staff, do not know what customer service is, terrible rooms, rooms needing redecorating, poor lighting, noisy...... The 2nd worst hotel I have ever stayed in! I spend around 230 nights per year in hotels on business travel!
There are lots of hotels in the same area and I'll be amazed if you cant find better and cheaper!

Rather than going all the way downtown, I usually stay near the CDG airport when I am just passing through Paris. On this trip I picked the Millenium (Roissey en France) which is close and can be accessed by free shuttle. Roissey en France is a very sweet area with a few small shoppes and large park where you can wander-perfect after a long plane ride.
The Millenium is one of the larger hotels in this are and advertises an "Irish Pub". As soon as I stepped into the lobbey I knew I made a mistake. The overpowering smell of chlorine (from the pool) permeates the lobbey. I had paid (advance purchase) for a room, 3 course dinner and breakfast. The rooms were over but very rundown (dirty carpeting, scuffed up walls etc). I had requested a nonsmoking room and was given a room that reaked of stale cigarettes (the walls the furniture etc). According to the website,if you bought a 3 course meal in advance (for around 23 Euro) it would be a substantial savings on meals that usually average 40 Euro's. First the desk people had no idea what I was talking about and had not heard about the internet special. When I finally got them to agre to giving me the prepaid meal I was told I would only get 24 Euro's on a meal and anything over that was out of my pocket. I am a small eater so this wasn't too much of a problem but I definately did not get a 3 course meal out of it from their restaurant. If you have a larger appetite this is not a good value because the plates are small. You can very easily get a much cheaper and very nice meal by walking down the street and into the village.
The hotel seemed very understaffed to me especially at the desk and in the restaurant and this was a problem at breakfast. I walked in and couldn't find a clean place at a table to sit even though the room was pretty empty. Apparently, there was no one to bus the dishes. At check out and check in I had to wait and wait. The BELLHOP finally came and checked me in.
I wouldn't say never stay here but there are better options in the neighborhood. That said I do have to compliment the chef at the hotel. I do not know about the so-called Irish Pub but the restaurant does have very good food ( menu is quite limited).
Personally I would stay in Roissey en France again because it's a lovely haven after a difficult and long haul. One advantage of this are is the free shuttle bus from the airport. But this has recently changed. Now all the airports in Roissey en France rely on one large bus (the Black Bus) and it comes much less often and is usually very crowded. You need to make sure you plan accordingly for this in the event that the bus is too crowded to take new passengers. I noticed this effect on my way out-the bus simply didn't have enough room for passengers and left them. I always leave my hotel really early to ensure that I get a spot on the bus.

We arrived on the eveningat 7:30pm. We were tired and just wanted to check in and go to bed for our very early morning flight. Upon arriving, we had to stand in line for 1 hour for check-in. There was a large group ahead of us and there was apparently issues with their reservation. There was only 1 person working the front desk. After 35 minutes of waiting, we finally chimed in and asked the front desk if they could call someone else to help check us in because we just wanted to go to our room. The receptions response was "I'm busy helping this group.". It took an entire hour before they finally finished the group and helped us. By then we were so exhausted and angry that we asked to talk with the manager. She called her manager, and her manager took some notes in french and said she would have her general manager contact us about a possible reimbursement due to our waiting for an hour. The General Manager, Christophe Cialdella, contacted us and refused a refund. To make matters worse, we got up to our hotel room and immediately fell asleep. Then we were awakened to a fire alarm going off. We were required to run down the stairs in our pajamas and go outside, only to find out that this was a false alarm. My mother had health problems and this impacted her health. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, and clearly Christophe doesn't care about making things right with unhappy customers. Christophe, if you're reading this....I want my money back!!!

We booked this hotel as it was cheap. Our plane was to get into main Paris by train.
Not only does this hotel give free shuttle from the airport, it also does a free shuttle into Paris!
We got the shuttle from the hotel at 10am but it doesnt take you back until 8pm so we got the train back as we have a baby which was 8 euro 50c per person! bargain!!

The staff speak english which was very helpful as my french is shocking, they are very helpful!

The hotel is lovely although the one issue i would say was the fact the main restaurant was not open at dinner time, but there was the Irish bar which served the same food as the restaurant with some exceptions.

Overall I love this hotel, brilliant for the airport, and Paris and clean and has a lovely welcoming pressence.

Reccommend to all!
xxxxx
