I have to travel between UK and Nigeria, so travel from Manchester to CDG and then a connecting flight. CDG is the most inconvenient airport I've ever been through for over the top security and badly laid out. So, instead of travelling and getting stressed out the same day, I took the last flight to CDG on the Sunday evening, 5 minute walk to the Sheraton above the station. So, it could be a very useful hotel for going into Paris.
The hotel is very modern. The room was extremely quiet and the bed very comfortable, so I enjoyed a good nights sleep. The room had two beds: I wanted a double, so I was given access to the Club Lounge. It was a nice touch. I didn’t try the food in the hotel as I arrived late, so cannot comment on the amenities.
I will definitely go back again (beginning January 2010). The next morning was hassle free and a short walk for my connecting flight. I pay for the hotel myself, so it’s my personal choice.
We have read your comment after your last visit in our property and thank for your positive feedback.
We were happy to read you enjoyed a good rest and found our location convenient, within an airport not always easy to go through.
We wish you safe travels and look forward to welcoming you upon your next journey to or from Nigeria.
Warmest regards from the team,
I stayed at the Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel after booking an early morning (i.e., 7:00 AM) departure from CDG. I had a free reward night to use by the end of the month, so I opted to stay here for the convenience factor. I arrived at the hotel close to 10 PM and the staff greeted me warmly. Although the restaurant was about to close for dinner service, I was still seated and served promptly (but not rushed). The hotel itself was very well-appointed - modern, with large bathrooms with separate tub and shower, the room was somewhat small, bed was extremely comfortable. Unfortunately I was not able to connect to a wireless network in the room (something which, in my opinion, should be standard for all hotels nowadays), however there were several computer kiosks with free internet in the lobby from which I could check my flight status and print a boarding pass. My only concern about staying at this hotel was that it would be noisy with airport traffic and plane noise, however, I was very pleasantly surprised by how quiet the room was, especially considering my room overlooked the entrance to the arrivals terminal. Overall, a great stay and would definitely consider staying again prior to any early morning flights out of Paris.
Thank you very much for your detailed and positive review about our property.
We are glad to read your enjoyed our location and its soundproofed room as well as our services.
We also have taken good note of your feedback regarding wifi in the rooms and have forwarded to our management team for consideration.

I stayed at the Sheraton Charles de Gaulle for 2 nights in late November, 2009. I was there for a business meeting in the hotel, and the hotel was chosen by my company.
The rooms are beautiful - clean, comfortable and spotlessly appointed. Same with the bathrooms. Everything works perfectly as it should in such a hotel.
There is a small fitness center with a couple of cardio machines, but not sauna or steambath that I could find. Still, good enough.
My problem centers on the prices in the bar and restaurant, and on the restaurant service. Of course it's an airport hotel bar - you expect to pay "premium" prices - but 12 Euros for a pint of beer? I treated 8 business colleagues to a drink - and was greeted with a 140 Euro bill - that's a lot of money for 1 drink for the group, perhaps 2 in a few cases. The problem is they know they "have" you - the only other option is to go to the airport and find a bar there, and that's not likely to happen. I would have gladly paid 30% less - and I would think that even then the hotel would do well financially.
The restaurant is another story. Although the dinner we had was quite good, again, the prices seem on the high side - 21 Europs for a (large, well-dressed) hamburger with fries, 24 Euros for most main items. OK for a trendy downtown bistro, but in my opinion, a bit steep even for an airport hotel. Breakfast was worse - 29 Euros for the buffet, no a la carte service available that I knew of. What compounded the issue was the lack of service in the restaurant - at dinner the first night the tables were full and a staff of 3 was trying to take care of the customers. They did a valiant job, but simply could not keep up. At breakfast both days, there was frequently no help besides the omelette chef, and occassionally a rather lost-looking young French woman who was trying to help by clearing tables and getting customers coffee or tea when she could be found. It took me around 10 minutes one day to get a cup of coffee, and that was only after I walked around the restaurant trying to find the one server. If there's going to be so little help at breakfast, at least put out pots of coffee and hot water so that customers can help themselves, especially when you're charging 29 Euros for breakfast.
We have read your feedback following your last visit with us and thank you for your positive notes. We also took good note of your comments regarding restaurant service and prices; be assured we have forwarded them to our management team for consideration. We also wanted to confirm to you that we do offer a la carte breakfast service in our restaurant. We have of course forwarded your feedback to our restaurant manager so processes can be checked on this matter.
Again, thank you for your business, we do hope to welcome you upon your next journey to France and present better services to you.
