I found the staff ok, in a detached, Parisian way and, although travelling alone, had a clean, comfortable and spacious double room. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, but the cooked breakfast element was probably the worst I've ever had; not just the usual hotel cooked-too-early-kept-warm till-it-dried-out-scenario, but the worst-tasting, cheapest catering quality ingredients.

1- Our immediate impression of this Best Western was negative. The woman working reception was sour. She had a dour look and we were not made to feel welcome.
2- We booked a 'non-smoking' room and after we freshened up - my husband and I both said at the same time - 'I smell cigarettes'. It was coming from outside our room. We called reception and were told our floor wasn't a 'non-smoking' floor - what did we want them to do. How about offer us another room immediately.
3- We decided to pack-up and request another room that didn't reek of cigarettes because it was giving us a headache. We were told by the same 'sour' woman at reception that they didn't have a single available 'non-smoking' room on the 'non-smoking' floor. I explained (firmly) that having a 'non-smoking' room on a 'smoking' floor defeats the purpose. She mumbled something - went into an office and suddenly a 'non-smoking room' on a 'non-smoking' floor was available. Imagine that!!! She asked us rather rudely to please make sure it didn't smell before we used the room.

This was our last night in France and we are very disappointed in Best Western. This is a brand we expect a lot from - and while it's difficult to get away from cigarette smoke in France, Best Western should make completely 'non-smoking/smelling' rooms available to guests who do not want to smell foul cigarette smoke. They should also set a standard at reception for how their guests should be welcomed and treated in their hotels.

Room Tip: If you are booking a 'non smoking' room - make sure to request a 'non smoking' floor...

We were family of eight....we got clean rooms...importantly frendily staff. We checked quiet late but hotel was very helpful in organising a night tour of paris. ...Will recomend it to every one. Anil jain date of staying may 19 onwards.

I would not considered this hotel as 4-stars, maximum 3. We couldn't get clear info where to get free shuttle bus at airport. we asked the information at airport who asked us to walk to another terminal for 20 minutes but there was only a taxi stand and no sign for any hotel bus. So finally we took a taxi to hotel. Room is spacious but furnitures were old. There was no toothbrush, shower cap, glass or even face towel provided. The photos of lobby on booking.com look nice but in reality not the case. The PU chairs were old and dirty. The lounge table were not clean from last customers and full of oil spots and crumbs. But at least the pizza tasted good. When we tried to book a restaurant in Paris who spoke only French, we asked for the help of reception. He asked he could not help and asked us to go to the business center where there was nobody but 3 computers standing for hotel guests. At the end there was a friendly staff from the office who helped us to book the table.

I've never been in a hotel with such a filthy and stained bathroom floor, specially round the toilet. It is really disgusting. Also the bath was not clean. I remember having the same problem last year when visiting the Maison & Objet fair, and complaining about it at the reception desk, but I supposed then we simply had bad luck with our room. This year we had a different room with exactly the same issues. Moreover other people in our company complained about this too. In my opinion they really have a structural problem.

One must wonder how hotels get their stars because this hotel does not deserve what it claims. On the plus side the room was good and reception attentive. The location is comparable to most of the other airport hotels but... the shuttle bus is seriously slow so allow at least half hour to/from the airport apart from waiting time. On the bus I had lots and lots of time to talk to other passengers and one man said he regularly worked in the area and had settled on Holiday Inn as the best after trying them all as it had the best service etc and was a 2 minute walk from Roissy village so you might try that. This hotel had one lift working and no steps down to lobby but only to an alarmed fire door so it was a 5-10 minute wait in the morning to go down to breakfast which was substandard in every way. We shared a dining area with a horde of package tour tourists all fighting to get access to the one table of hot food located in a narrow passageway. The food was, well, awful with inedible scrambled eggs, ok bacon when you could get it with the highlight of the meal being potato chips. For over 100 people 2 slow coffee machines with poor quality coffee gives you an idea of the real attitude of management - it felt like contempt. In the room it was much the same with 3 pillows for 2 persons and one little packaged cake for both with no tea but only coffee and herb tea provided. I would not go back but if you don't mind high priced hotels that cater to the lower standard of bulk package tours this hotel could be for you. Good luck!

I tried cancelling a month in advance on the same day of my booking because of unforseen circumstances. After much deliberation would only refund me 1/2 of my money. Obviously a theft when a month in advance someone who did not have the benefit of the service has to pay for half of the booking fee. Just make sure you are certain this is where you wan tto stay before booking. They are rude and they lack service skills and have zero compassion or business skills. A cancellation fee would have been reasonable. $ 500.00 for a service cancelled way ahead of time and never used? WOW... that's theft!
