Description: Since 1928, the Cazaudehore family has passed on from father to son the secret of turning a simple “refreshments bar” into an eminent address in the west of Paris. Our Executive Chef Grégory Balland is devoting his full attention to a creative and light cuisine, but never forget the region from which the family is from: the south west of France. All this has made the reputation of this long-time favourite household. The restaurant offers a cosy and friendly atmosphere, where even in winter the surrounding nature can express its presence. In summer days, the restaurant opens onto a terrace surrounded by the forest, its smells, noises and mysteries.

Just had a romantic valentine evening diner in the most classy style...set menu with marvelous food. A sommelier able to propose some amazing wine from small production area such as domaine de Gauby 2009...
A great experience for a very special occasion!

We visited for Sunday lunch. I had smoked salmon (very generous hand cut portion, very tender)), duck confit (tender, though I prefer more cooked myself) and roast pear. I skipped the cheese - rather disappointingly they do not have a proper cheese trolley, just a selection pre-cut on a plate. Overall I would rate the meal as good but not great. As it was Sunday lunchtime there was plenty of family groups, The staff were professional without being either intrusive or warm. The decor is all wooden beams. One point to watch - the restaurant was full of dogs. In fact every table except ours seemed to have brought their dog. I do not think this is appropriate in what positions itself as a high end restuarant. On Sunday they also offer a Brunch option in the ajoining room, which is probably a better option for families with kids.

Thank you for your message.
By the description of your dishes, it seems you have chosen our Forestière Menu which contains a selection of 3 refined cheeses chosen on our cheese trolley, which is available on our A La Carte menu.
Indeed, we do allowed dogs as long as their "masters" can keep them quiet. Unfortunately, their rarely let us know in advance if they will come with their dogs or not and therefore we can hardly "manage" the number of dogs in the restaurant. I do hope none of them have disturb your lunch.
Have a pleasant end of year !

We were lucky enough to get married here a few years ago, and always enjoy paying a visit back for our wed anniversary, and or birthday parties.
Always having a relaxed and very enjoyable evening!
Food is excellent, our preference go to the lobster, not to forget the fabulous cheese tray!
Vincent is just always absolutely precious, Patrick as well: we now leave "carte blanche " for wine suggestions!

We definitely recommend Cazaudehore, each and every time, it is a true experience.

We went to Cazaudehore to celebrate a family event and where a party of 20+ people. We were in one of the private rooms on the ground floor with access to the garden. Service was friendly, (almost) faultless (small issue about number of side salads that was quickly solved) and very discrete.

We had ordered the menu at EUR70 per person and although we were not too sure that it would please every one, it turned out to be excellent with very subtle flavours (especially the main dish which was tuna).

Only negative, the fee paid for each bottle of champagne we brought was a bit steep at EUR25.

However all in all excellent experience and we would highly recommend this restaurant for family events.

We in the UK have to accept that when it comes to Cuisine our country is somewhat lacking whereas we also have to accept that our nearest neighbours, the French, are the best in the world. A great example was seen as Cazaudehore at La Forestiere under the excellent management of Vincent Pedrot. We were staying by chance at La Forestiere for a couple of nights and had every intention of eating there for just the first night. However, the highest quality of feed, wine and sublime personal service made it a must that my wife and I dine there on the second day also. The only complaint is the need for a 90 minute run early in the morning to compensate for the food eaten. However, I would gladly do this to enjoy the experience again - and we intend to. Recommend anyone visiting Versailles or Paris should ensure they enjoy the divine experience of dining at Cazaudehore.
