Based on TA reviews and the Michelin Guide we booked for dinner on a Saturday. We were well received and shown into a small lounge as we were a little early. We had a table in the front of the restaurant which was tastefully decorated. The squid in glass on the tables looked great! Next was the choice of dinner - we went for the €50 menu leaving the choice to the chef. We said what we didn't like (chèvre) and then sat back to await our surprises! Amuse bouches were a great start; then sushi grade fish as a darter; followed by red mullet with a carrot and orange purée in a circle with saffron sauce in the middle; then perfectly cooked duck; then green pea ice-cream with strawberry ketchup (quirky but delicious - try it!); petit fours to finish. We had a couple of glasses of wine with the food and asked the waiter to choose for us. Good choices! Waiter was friendly and keen to try his English which helped. Terrific evening only let down by a 30 minute wait for the bill having asked 3 times. I would ask for the bill at the same time as you order your coffees! As another reviewer has said - Michelin star food for €50, what is not to like? Highly recommended.
