Stayed here for five days whilst visiting the area - as an Accor card holder I would normally choose to stay in their hotels and this is the only one within quite some distance of Cap D’Agde.
It’s a brand new hotel (as of August 2014) and it’s a little too new as the place is only half built. There’s currently no restaurant or bar, only half a breakfast room and there’s building work going on everywhere! Electric wires popping out of the ground, no pedestrian entrance from the road, workmen wandering around! The building work has clearly overrun and they've decided to open to get some peak time bookings. I paid €240 plus tax per night - this is not good value for the state the hotel is in.
The rooms themselves are of the quality you would expect. Spacious with everything you’d expect. I booked a ‘privilege’ room but I failed to see what you get over a standard room. All rooms are the same size and have a balcony. I appear to have paid extra for a fancy coffee machine and an iPhone charger. I chose the ‘privilege’ room as I couldn’t redeem my points against a standard room.
My ‘privilege’ room was around the back overlooking a neighbouring apartment block - I don’t think any of the rooms have any views as such due to its location on the edge of a residential area and quite some way from the beach areas.
Cleaning was very poor. Room wasn’t hoovered at all during my stay, bin wasn’t emptied on two occasions and bathroom cleaning appeared to be a quick wipe-down with a cloth. A ten-year-old could have done a better job making the bed. I appreciate the hotel is new (as, I imagine are the staff) but this must improve quickly.
Staff were all very pleasant and polite but didn’t really go over the top to help. Free wifi was a good bonus.
Overall - this small, boutique-style hotel, although comfortable and probably good when it’s finished, is in the wrong end of town for most people wanting to visit the resort. However, there isn’t a great deal else at the higher-end around so will win on that.
