My wife and I and another couple rented this villa for a week. We were told to go to the village tourist center and ask for Madame Blayrack. We did, and were told that we were staying in "the president's house." I suggested there must be mistake, but then Madame Blayrack showed up withe key, and we learned she was the president of local tourism bureau.
The villa is on a side street about a block from the village square. It was just renovated and is beautiful. First floor is an open kitchen with a sitting and eating area. In the corner a spiral stone staircase takes you to the second floor which has a large bedroom and private bath plus washer and dryer. On up the spiral to the third floor with private bath. Up one more flight and you are on a charming terrace with lounge furniture and a pull man kitchen. Look east and you see the Papal Place in Avignon. All other directions you see the charming rooftops of Villeneuve-Avignon.
Parking is free just one short block away at the tourist info center. The spiral staircase would not be fun for anyone who has trouble with stairs. Otherwise, it is one of the nicest places we've every stayed in, and there have been many over the years. Bonus...you can walk to at least five or more good restaurants, as well as patisseries.

Liked best: The rooftop terrace and the easy walk into the village...plus the children at play in front of our door.
Liked least: Need one more chair in the sitting area on the first floor.
