It must be hard being a hotelier. This hotel, a few years ago, would have been nicely situated in some pine woods on the edge of town. Now its in a growing industrial estate surrounded by Formule 1 and other budget hotels. The restaurant when we passed, was populated by single (business?) travellers and all looked a little glum. Not cheap either. On the other side of the car park is a MacDonalds which will destroy the breakfast trade and a Carrefour which will take a lot of the supper trade.
The room was fine, and the owner(?) attended promptly with the wifi code and also provided an extra chair for us to sit in the bedroom. He was nice, and the hotel is perfectly decent, but struggling.More
