We have eaten at Bistro Chambon at lunchtime and evenings and have never been disappointed.
I can highly recommend the house speciality of boeuf effeuiller, reservations must be made!

ENJOY!!

This very popular restaurant has become complacent. Having eaten there twice before and found the food and service to be very good, I agreed with local friends to go for a Saturday lunch. Very disappointing. We were the first to arrive but did not get served for 30 minutes, while other tables filled up and their orders taken. The quality of the food was uneven. The quality of the service was poor. I will not go again.

This a place where you know you will get value for money, fresh local ingredients and a busy bistrot atmosphere with friendly service. It is always a good standard, we eat here regularly and have never been disappointed, reserve in advance as it's a popular place with business and shoppers and usually fully booked.

I had only eaten here once before, at lunchtime when it was very crowded (you have to book ahead). The meal was good but it was hard to hold a conversation. So, we tried again, this time in the evening. The restaurant was only half-full and so the four of us were able to chat comfortably. We all had the Formule Diner (29€). The food and service were very good, though what really stood out was a bottle of Moulin de Gassac "Guilhem". We'll be back though for dinner rather than lunch.

We went here as a treat for lunch and the placed was packed on a Wednesday lunch. Foie gras was a good size and wonderfully cooked, the bone marrow is served on a large bone cut in two. A fabulous and juicy pork chop for anfter and then a baba rum, after that it was time for 40 winks.
Service needs a little tweaking but other than that its one i shall return to again.
Its set out like an American dinner and the art works are fab, if a bit dusty
