By its appearance, you could be forgiven when arriving at this hotel for thinking you had arrived at one of the chain's North American branches. However once through the front door you are very definitely in France.
As other reviewers have noted, it is some distance from the centre of town but very close to the motorway making it an ideal base to explore the area. One of the advantages of the location is that it is very quiet at night. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. We found the restaurant to be excellent, with enough different choices for our short stay on the menu though perhaps not if you were staying longer. What was obvious from the greetings given and received that they have a large number of regular customers.
The breakfast room is light and airy with the choice of plenty of good quality ingredients at a price normally charged in this sort of hotel.

The hotel is the best in Epinal if you have a car. Also it's found in a calm industrial zone close to alot of malls and shopping centers including very big Carrefour.
The rooms are very spacious and have separate WC and separate bathroom.
The rooms are very clean, wi fi worked well.
A buffet breakfast at 12 euro worth its value.
ALL IN ALL very positive experience, but without car you better stay in Elinal center instead.

Been there for a short trip to Lorraine/Vosges. The location is unspectacular, on the edge of a commercial area and close to the motorway exit, though conveniently located if (like us) you prefer not to eat every meal in restaurants - there is a big Carrefour in a two minutes' distance by car. As reviewers noted, you will need a car if you plan to leave for the village and despite some eateries there is hardly anything near that might interest you on a trip. I do not hold it against the hotel since I knew that fact before I went there.
On the other hand, the hotel features rather spacious rooms, has a really nice little spa featuring a steam cabin, one sauna, one jacuzzi and a cold pool. All but the pool have a max capacity of 6, so be prepared to show some flexibility what to do when.
After all, we were more than content, though there is room for improvement:
- The fitness room is rather a joke. All three cardio cycles were at best inoperative or worse, a hazard because of loose parts. There was a set of weights, if you can find a place in the overly crowded space. And, the room has a large window but bad air conditioning.
- The Spa and the Fitness room in theory have towels for your convenience, but there are not nearly enough since they are not replenished in hours. In the disfunctional fitness room this is not problem, you can hardly use it anyway, but the spa is well frequented, and the towels are gone quickly. Checking this more often could easily rectify this.
On the plus side, the rooms feature good beds, flatscreen cable TV/radio, free WiFi... and the bathrooms feature a separate toilet. Nice addons are a water heater and an alarm clock with time projection. In the closet you'll find a small safe. The room was cleaned daily and spotlessly, and we had a hard time to get the maid to accept a tip - money lying openly on the bed was put on the table.
I cannot tell anything about the breakfast (not included) or restaurant service/quality since I did not eat there at all - nothing against the hotel, I just got my preferred supplies from Carrefour.
If I planned to go to that village/region again, I would not hesitate to check in there again.

Room Tip: We had #230 which is located away from the street and parking lot, so quiet. We were not totally con...

The location of the hotel is a little out so I eould not suggest if you don't have a car. The room is large and the bathroom has good dimension but the hotel offer a limited choice of courtesy set in the toilet. The tv channels choiche in other language tha is not french is poor. The italian have just one and it didn't work. The fitness room have a lot equipment but their quality is low so at the end you cannot use them . The people at reception have hatd tine on understanding english. The internet is free ank work very well . Next time I eould choose something else

Stayed overnight on our way to Switzerland. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant, the service was very good and the staff were very friendly. Our room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Coffe making facilities in the room and we liked the fact the toilet was separate from the bathroom.
Will definitely stay there again.

We were staying just one night and had a reasonably friendly greeting. Our room was functional if a little tired as we were after a long drive. We did not want to drive anywhere for an evening meal so we ate in the restaurant. We were put by a door into a conference room with people going in and out. The service was appalling, we had hoped for an early night but we didn't finish until 11.30 pm. It was such a pity, they do not have vegeterian food but this is France otherwise the food looked Ok but the service let them down and other regulars were served quite quickly. It was not cheap and we won't eat there again.

Only stayed for one night, arrived late and left early. Nice meal at night with a clean room. It has an underground car park if you have a motorbike so nice and safe, not sure if you have to pay extra for this.
