Loved this cottage and Trish the owner as amazing providing goodies to help with our stay. This was very much appreciated. It’s situated in the beautiful town of Whalley and is decorated well, bed is very comfortable and so much is provided right down to a lovely bottle of wine. Well done Trish
Extremely comfortable cottage for a relaxing time. Set in a beautiful village (finalist in Britain in Bloom 2018) with a historic abbey and inspirational country walks
Impressive welcome pack from the owner (the fridge was full !) and the kitchen is well equipped should you wish to cook a meal. However there is no need to as Whalley has bars and restaurants in abundance. Within 1-2 miles there are three gastropubs in Wiswell (Freemason's Arms), Barrow (Eagle) and Mitton (Three Fishes). Barrow and Wiswell are an easy walk and all three pubs have a website for booking.
There is a Co-op a few minutes walk away for papers etc
Absolutely brilliant !
Beautiful cottage. Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Great location and the best welcome pack iv ever seen. Had everything we needed and more. Lovely owner. Will defiantly be back. Thank you for a fab long weekend.
What an awesome find. An amazing house with amazing hosts. Everything was spot on from the first moment - from being directed to parking to advice on local walks. Ellie and Leigh were fantastic hosts. The room, the home and the breakfast were outstanding. I would definitely recommend and stay again. 5 stars alround
Enjoyed our stay n this beautifully designed and decorated little cottage. The owner Trisha adds extra touches to make her guests stay special
Had a lovely Easter Break, everything available to make our stay comfortable, the little extras were a nice touch. Whalley has plenty amenities so was nice to walk out & not use the car, especially on an evening. Many thanks.
Ideally located, with easy parking, then you get inside.
It is a beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, olde worlde cottage, with all the modern appliances/ fittings you need. But what sets it apart are the nice extra touches : nice welcoming back with all the essentials you need and then some. Complimentary toiletries, and the kitchen supplies you always need but forget to take ( cling film, tin foil, washing up liquid). Great communications throughout, and Trisha even bought a new bowl for the dog. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in Whalley, which itself is well worth a visit, with plenty to see and do. Thanks again
