“'Oh So Snug' Whalley”
Reviewed 10 October 2018 for a stay in September 2018

We were very impressed with this cosy chic cottage, very well decorated and furnished. The goodies supplied by Trisha were most welcomed.
Excellent centre for walking esp. up Pendle Hill only not on a wet, windy and misty morning next time!
Great shopping in Clitheroe, esp. at Clitheroe Mills. Excellent eating to be had at the Café/Bistro at Tosside, the Kitchen Garden at Holden Clough Nursery and the Cucina 75 in Whalley. A really enjoyable 2 weeks.

“Superbly comfortable cottage for two”
Reviewed 21 July 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Extremely comfortable cottage for a relaxing time. Set in a beautiful village (finalist in Britain in Bloom 2018) with a historic abbey and inspirational country walks

Impressive welcome pack from the owner (the fridge was full !) and the kitchen is well equipped should you wish to cook a meal. However there is no need to as Whalley has bars and restaurants in abundance. Within 1-2 miles there are three gastropubs in Wiswell (Freemason's Arms), Barrow (Eagle) and Mitton (Three Fishes). Barrow and Wiswell are an easy walk and all three pubs have a website for booking.

There is a Co-op a few minutes walk away for papers etc

Absolutely brilliant !

What an awesome find. An amazing house with amazing hosts. Everything was spot on from the first moment - from being directed to parking to advice on local walks. Ellie and Leigh were fantastic hosts. The room, the home and the breakfast were outstanding. I would definitely recommend and stay again. 5 stars alround

“Cosy warm cottage.”
Reviewed 4 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Had a lovely Easter Break, everything available to make our stay comfortable, the little extras were a nice touch. Whalley has plenty amenities so was nice to walk out & not use the car, especially on an evening. Many thanks.
