“A great lunch”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

Arrived in Whalley, and didn't know where to eat. Found Benedicts. Excellent menu, quick service, good presentation of food, plenty of choice for different types of drink. Quite busy, and the "back room" didn't have the same atmosphere as the main part of the bistro. We noticed some extension to Benedicts being developed, and this should ease the somewhat crowded feel. We'll be back to try it out again then! We. Really enjoyed their ploughman's platter, and my wife loved the salmon open sandwich. Highly recommended.

“Bright, modern and very acceptable”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 via mobile

Benedicts is conveniently located in the beautiful village of Whalley, nr Clitheroe. A modern wine bar style eaterie they offer a varied menu of light and more ambitious dishes, all well presented and pleasantly served. Definitely ideal for lunch and tea time snacks, but I wouldn't go there for dinner as while enjoyable and very good, the food is not exceptional.

“How is this place still going? ”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 via mobile

We have visited benedicts on many occasions and in all the time we have been going I have never known the dippy eggs to be dippy, infact I think they should re-name them runny eggs! Either that our just take them off the menu if they can't do them. Other food is generally ok but the service could be alot better.

“Best Breakfast in the North West”
Reviewed 2 August 2014 via mobile

Me and my wife popped down on Saturday morning for some breakfast. We know Benedict's is usually packed on a Saturday but we really wanted the eggs Benedict so took a chance. We got a table very quickly, ordered coffee and breakfast which arrived very quickly for how busy it was. The breakfast was delicious as expected, and the coffee superb. We both got an ice cream in a cone to go despite the rainy weather. Can't wait to use the new delicatessen which we have been told is opening very soon.

“Popped in for Lunch”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

My partner and I popped in for lunch this week and we were pleasantly surprised at the high level of service and quality of food. The staff were polite and courteous and nothing was too much too ask of them. I will certainly be recommending Benedicts of Whalley friends and family and will definitely be visiting this fine establishment again.
