We stayed at this hotel overnight before and early flight. It was excellent! The hotel is modern, super quiet and has a free shuttle to the terminal on request. Our room was a ideal for an overnight stay and was beautifully clean. Dinner and drinks were delicious. Finally, the front desk staff were very helpful and kind at both check in and check out. We shall definitely stay again!

Friendly staff, very nicely appointed rooms. I checked in late on a Saturday evening when a wedding reception was getting under way. The desk clerk upgraded me to a business room so I wouldn't be bothered by noise. A very nice touch. Food in restaurant is a tad expensive, but the proximity to the airport, especially if you're returning a rental, is unbeatable.

Location- a couple of minutes from the airport with plenty of free parking. A courtesy bus will take you to/from the airport.
Arrival- very modern lobby, lovely guy at check in who upgraded us to a business class room.
Bar- bar staff were very friendly and asked if we wanted the tv turned over to English channels. The drinks are expensive here: 8.50 euro for a pint of beer and 11.70 euro for gin and tonic. They did serve a little dish of mixed nuts with the drinks though !!!!
The room - very modern with sliding opaque glass door to the bathroom. The shower was over the bath. Lots of nice lemon scented toiletries including a little pot of hand cream which is unusual in hotels. Excellent mini bar but again with high prices. I couldn't work out if the bottles of water beside the coffee machine were complimentary. The coffee machine is fantastic, choose your coffee and place it into the compartment, the machine does the rest. Good black out curtains on the large windows. Dark blue coloured slippers rather than the usual white and large white fluffy robes are in the bathroom. The tv has bbc1, bbc2, itv1,itv2, itv3 etc. Also in room movies at extra charge.
Food- we ordered room service burgers. The burger was superb and comes with french fries and a large green salad, 35 euros though including the tray charge.
Breakfast- this was included but we had to leave at 4.30am for an early flight and it doesn't start until 6 am. I noticed a grab and run breakfast in the lobby of fruit, cereal bars, tea, coffee, bottled water which was a good option at that time of the morning
Check out- my husband realised he had left his jacket at the bar the night before and when we were checking out the guy brought it out to him.
The most impressive aspect of our stay was the friendliness of the staff who went the extra mile to chat with us and make our stay as good as possible. It's a long time since I have experienced such staff at a large chain hotel. They should be rewarded for attitude to customers. Even the guy driving the courtesy us was super friendly.

Room Tip: Choose business class

We took two rooms at this modern and friendly large (slightly chic?) hotel - part of a chain.

Staff seem well trained and empowered and were helpful on things ranging from booking taxis, printing boarding passes to planning when to leave for an early flight.

The walking route to the airport is complex at the moment as there are road works taking place - should be much better in 6 months. We walked it after dropping off our hire car but not easy (equally not far).

The rooms are spotless, clean and comfortable. The only thing that went wrong was that their automatic wake up call never called us in the morning but luckily the alarm clock did work...

Taxis into town cost about 30E if you want to gauge distances. The shuttle bus to the terminal takes up to ten minutes while the road works are on - probably only a few minutes when they are finished.

Room Tip: All are likely to be quiet.

Staying at hotel for one night before flying to Venice . Leaving my car here as part of the deal while away, very good rate and very convenient for holiday travel . Rooms are very nice free wi fi and the food was excellent . The most important thing was that all the staff where very happy and helpful will stay here again .
