“Lovely place to stay”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

Really enjoyed my stay at B&B Tiendegaarden. I was traveling alone and stayed for 2 nights. The hostess Suzanne was lovely, and because the B&B was not full, she very kindly upgraded me to a better room with direct access to the kitchenette and living room. Living quarters were spacious, homely, clean, well-equipped and the backyard was so nice- there were swings and you can play chess! Great place for families. It is not in the most convenient location if you do not have a car, but for me it was a very enjoyable 2km walk from the bus stop as the surrounding area was so beautiful. Highly recommended.

hello.
We are glad ho hear you "used out" the free upgrading - and yes we live on the countryside 1,5 km away from busstop. In advance you have peace and can hear the birds singing :-)
We hope to see you again, and send a ams then we pick you up at bus stop - if we have a car free.

We have stayed in this beautiful restored farm at the beginning of May 2014 for 1night.
On arrival, we have served ourselves in as the owner was away. Commune kitchen/dining area; nice and compact en-suite room. Later on we were greeted by one of the owners very warmly. Pay attention that if you pay with foreign credit card, you 'll have extra commission added to your bill!
A very peaceful stay, pretty close to the cliffs. Well recommend!

Hello.
Sometime I am out shopping or for meetings - but we make it easy to "trek-in" yourselves. We know about the commissions fee on credit card - but only some card. We have tried to find out who got the fee - it is not us, we can tell you, because we also pay a fee, for getting the money from the bank... We think it have something to do with the bank, the different card types etc. but we also give up, finding out about all the fees :-)
Hope you are safe home again...

We stayed two nights in TiendeGaarden. It's a beautiful place. We booked two rooms with bathroom. Although we did not booked the livingroom we could use this one too. We were suprised about that.

We stayed one full-day in Mon. We went to the cliffs and had a beautiful view. We were very lucky with the good weather, which is necessary for doing the activities in the area.

We arrived for our one night stay, greated by the owner and shown around.
Tiendegaarden was perfect, why where we not staying longer!! :-( amazing onebed roomed apartment, clean, modern, well equipt just perfect. we spent the evening with our glasses of wine watching the deer jumping through the hayfeilds infront of us, it was just amazing. if your expectations hadn't already been met and more, then we where in for a suprise the next morning when we went to collect our breakfast. breakfast at tiendegaarden is not to be missed. just like if you where going to the village shop yourself, we where presented with our own wickerbasket full of warm morning goodies. jam jars filled with muslie and cornflakes, milk and homemade elderflower juice. hard boild eggs, tea, coffee, jams, proper butter, salamies, ham, and cheese. not to mention the fresh bread. it was wonderful.
i will never forget this place and am now making it my mission to go back and support this well run family bussines. just perfect

Me and my wife arrived at the B&B for a one night stay during our wedding in Denmark. We were immediately greeted by the hotel hostess/ owner and was given the tour. After we were shown our room which was in a separate building, that also had a full kitchen in the common area, we received som tips on touristing the local area. Great hotel, great service, great location, and we absolutely loved the breakfast basket in the morning. We would stay there again in a heartbeat if we're ever up in the area.

It is a perfect place for relaxation. The interior and especially the considerate service helps to feel like a gentleman from the good old times. If you are not a gentleman, it can be confusing at the beginning, but be afraid to get used to it - it's unforgettable! The place itself is great for history lovers and romantic persons. The old house keeps the past in sounds and smells, in the shadows. My husband and I remember our stay there like something fantastic, a dream, not a part of our ordinary life. We've spend only one night there, but I still miss it. I would recommend everyone to take the breakfast: high quality local food in the overwhelming dining room. While I was enjoying the library, the child was busy with the toys, carefully placed there for such cases. Everything was of such a high quality that I still think that I don't fully deserve it :)

A very nice place to stay if you want to get a little away from everything. But don't expect TV or internet - this is about relaxing :-)

Our stay at Tiendegaarden was very pleasant. We were given a room in the main building and was served our breakfastbasket there as well.
The atmosphere was relaxing and we relaxed in the garden and rode our bikes in the beautiful area surrounding Tiendegaarden.
