Stayed overnight on our way to ferry. Hotel very central next to train station. Room very comfortable with clean, modern bathroom. Breakfast always free at H. I. express & it was excellent. Only negative was underground parking garage & difficulty negotiating way up to reception with all our belongings. It was quite difficult to find also.

This hotel is a modern building adjacent to the train station. We had two rooms, each with a double bed and a couch that pulls out into a second double bed, but when pulled out it doesn't leave much space for anything else. Breakfast, mainly continental except that you can boil your own eggs, was included and was adequate. Beware that other than for breakfast there is no restaurant, only snacks in the tiny bar in the lobby. We arrived in the pouring rain and solved the restaurant problem by walking through the underground parking garage that is shared with the Merkur Hotel to their restaurant. Overall the hotel has basic amenities, but served our needs. We paid 99 Euros for a double occupancy room which was fair value.

Room Tip: Rooms on the Rue Dr. Brossard side are near the train tracks and therefore noisier.

An excellent chain hotel in the centre of Arras. The room was clean and roomy enough for three. Brilliant breakfast with some of the best pastries we have ever had. Easy walking distance to the central square and good restaurants. You have to pay for parking as it is in the middle of town, €10 is reasonable. A good hotel.

My husband and I stayed overnight with our 2 daughters and husbands with 4 young children aged between 2 years and 7 years. Hotel staff efficient and pleasant. Rooms clean with free wi-fi and tea and coffee making facilities. Hotel is central and next to Railway Station which you could hear if the window was opened. We stayed in a room overlooking the Railway which did not disturb our sleep but we had travelled for 10 hours from the gite we had been staying at! Disappointing that there was no Restaurant as we had arrived early evening with young children and did not want impose tired children on other diners in Arras. We decided to have a snack meal from the bar which was a
microwaved of pasta or risotto. I can't believe I came to France and ate a microwaved meal!!!! This did take sometime as only 2 meals could be done at a time and there was 10 of us. TOP tip: arrive early to sample the Restaurants in Arras! Breakfast was a full continental with variety of cereals, yogurts, meats, cheese, eggs, croissants and breads. Car parking was in an underground car park beneath the Hotel at a charge of 10 euros and accessed by lift. Hotel is convenient for visiting WW1 battlefields.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 days mid - June 2014. The hotel is fairly basic, but it is conveniently situated on the edge of the town centre and opposite the Railway Station. The staff were helpful, the hotel was very clean and tidy. The room was large, simple but perfectly adequate. The en-suite was very good. The breakfast was very good indeed and the dining area was bright and comfortable. Excellent location for visiting the WW1 battlefields and access to Lille. Good restaurants in the town.

Room Tip: I stayed in a room facing to the rear - very quiet indeed!
