“We fought over the mouse, should have ordered one each!”
Reviewed 27 May 2012

Good, honest food from the South West region of France (I know you are in the Nord region). Duck and foie gras are their specialty. I had a mixed assiette of ham( cured style, lovely flavor and tender), saucisson, cornchons (French gherkins), grilled nut bread and lettuce, all was fresh and delicious. For main I enjoyed duck magret with thyme and honey and potatoes cooked in duck fat, potatoes melted in your mouth, duck was cooked just slightly pink, the way it should be, husband had steak with garlic butter, nothing to rave about.
The desert was chocolate mouse with salted caramel butter, this is where we fought for the last spoon, just fantastic ! Order one each if you go, skip on something else!
The restaurant is on the street accross from the church on same side as the tourism office.
