I was fortunate to be able to attend a service at the Cathedral on the Sunday morning where two children were Christened, and although my French is less than perfect I had a wondeful Nun help me with finding my way through the prayer book and hymn sheet.

“Worth a visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2014

What a beautiful church!! It's a huge cathedral with exquisite stained glass windows. There are the skull remains of John the Baptist's head encased in glass. Be sure and ask to tour the steps up to the second level. You will need a ticket but they are free. Get them at the Cathedral gift shop just off the steps outside the entrance.

Of course the size is impressive, but access was easy. We were driving and parked in the car park behind the Justice Department building.

“A must to visit in Amiens”

The space was breathtaking, and the history very interesting. Found out that several Notre Damme Cathedrals in Paris could fit inside.
