Splendid location with plenty to enjoy. Good service and decent choice of delicious food. Worth taking care to choose what you really want rather than choosing the plat du jour or a menu. Consider sitting in front of the restaurant rather than next to the river where tables are very closely grouped

We had a great meal here, the servings are generous and reasonably priced. The steak (faux fillet) is the sirloin and was perfectly cooked to order. The salmon with pasta and pesto was quite a small serving" but more than enough after the large entree and it was delicious. A good selection of wines from around France, we found a nice Macon red for around 24eu, very good. Service was fast and friendly. High recommended.

My family and I arrived quite late when we dined here and there was a large group of 15 or so people who had also just arrived. The waiter was most polite and explained that we would be in for a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. The location on the Somme along with numerous restaurants is fantastic for dining outside in the summer. The food on offer from their daily specials is very good value and quality. my wife had the fish soup which she says is the best she has ever eaten anywhere (which is quite a compliment). When we are next in Amiens we well certainly be heading straight to L'Envie.

We walked along the quayside looking at the menus of the may restaurants . We chose L'envie as it's daily menu appealed to us compared with other restaurants and looked good value at 18.90 euros for 2 courses and 50cl pichet at 9.50 . It didnt disappoint and was well cooked and presentation was particuary pleasing Very colourful . We sat outside as it was a warm day, the only couple at the time but service was attentive . Would definitiely recommend and return.

This restaurant is perfectly located among lots of other restaurants close to a canal. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful summer night. Good deals on menus with delicious choices in both starter, main course and dessert. The waiters and waitresses spoke English so we got through the night without knowing a word of French! I would definitely recommend this place!!
