“Good hotel. Ideal stop over.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 April 2014

Used this hotel many times as a stopover coming home from a road trip of Europe and more so on little weekend trips to Calais and the surrounding area.

More than adequate hotel, good bar to sit and relax after dark. Good sized room, comfy bed and nice, well maintained toilet. There isn't a lot of things to do in Calais in my opinion. Theres only a certain amount of times you can walk around city Europe shopping center. However this is probably one of nicer hotels to stay in the area!

Would definitely stay there again and would easily recommend to others.

As mentioned in the title, this hotel is very comfortableand pleasant to stay at, very good fafacilities, meals are extra delicious and the conference rooms/meeting spaces are very conducive to focused work. Calais is a small town but beautiful and spaces (great for leisure outdoor activities).

Highly recommended for business meetings/conferences and a relaxed stay--maybe even as a stop over on the way to or from London (only 30 m'inscrire away).

We've stayed here 3 times now. Each time we have a room on the A16 side but the traffic is not heavy at night so no problem sleeping with open window.

This time our shower didn't work well at all but otherwise the room is clean, very spacious and comfy with fridge, air con, trouser press, tea & coffee making etc. you can breakfast in your room if you buy a pain au chocolate or croissant the day before.

The location here is ideal too. 1 min from J41 of A16, very close to Cite Europe and tunnel, straight through Coquelles village to Auchan (with petrol), buffalo Bill steakhouse, wine shops etc.

Good value for money. Plenty of free parking and lovely gardens complete with bunnies. Kids will love it.

Nice hotel and we enjoyed the hamam sauna and swimming pool. Opening hours are short. Good was good. So many nice places to visit nearby. Something weird maybe. We had a door in the room, open the door and there is a second door, that opens over the neighbors room!
No fridge in the room. And room is tiny
I would recommend it though

This is about the fourth time we have stayed here and have always been very pleased. this year we booked an executive suite for 3 nights and were very pleased. The lounge bar serves pub food which was fine. In addition there is an a la carte restaurant which offered a varied menu.
Breakfast was excellent and the staff are friendly and professional.
The hotel is well situated to drive along the coast passed the Deux Caps to Boulogne and then on to Le Touquet.
In addition, the City of Europe complex is about 5 minutes away.
We were given free acces to WiFI and there was also a reasonable range of English Language programmes on the TV.
This is an ideal choice for a few nights awahy as well as an overnight stay as it is near the motorway.
Will have no hesitation in returning here.

Room Tip: Have stayed in most aspects here and all rooms are quiet.

Arrived early afternoon without a booking. There was a room available, it was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the wifi only worked on one device. The dinner was tasty but the portion size was tiny, breakfast most definitely better than Hol inns in GB. Great for a night stay.

We arrived here late for an overnight stop on our way to the Alps. We checked in quickly with two small and tired children and immediately someone was dispatched to our room to make sure that the sofa bed was set up so by the time we got to the room, bed was ready for immediate use!
We didn't get to use any of the facilities - there is a restaurant, gym and indoor pool - as we got up and left before breakfast the next day.

My only complaint would be that free wifi is advertised and this is indeed the case but we could only seem to use it on one device - not great when both my husband and I wanted to download emails!
