My daughter and I had dinner here after an unusually long and tiring (for me!) drive from Scotland. I've dined in Calais many, many times over the years and this place really hit the spot. It definitely isn't formal and that's the great selling point. The place was packed with local families yet the waitress couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The crepes were excellent and the bottle of wine was fantastic value for the price. Desserts were just as good. Not the place for a romantic meal but then that is not what it's aiming for. It's a place to relax, chill out, eat good quality, fresh food, chat away and enjoy yourself. Thoroughly recommended and will definitely be back on our next visit to Calais.
