“Comfortable night's sleep”
Reviewed 16 August 2013

Beds were very comfortable. The hotel was a short drive from the ferry port. My late arrival was not a problem. Friendly staff. Room was very quiet. Secure parking which was locked at night. I had a very comfortable nights sleep and would use the hotel again

Stayed here for one night. The rooms are clean but long overdue a REFURB, they are very run down. However they did provide clean linen a comfy bed and TV as well as drink making facilities. The Bathroom was clean, but had had the mould on the ceilings painted over but was still coming through and by 0730 lacked any Hot Water for the shower.
We ate an evening meal here, the menu is misleading and advertised as all you can eat, but beware of your partner tries some of your food they try to charge you for a second starter.
The food was overpriced for what it was and the steak we had was small and pretty tough compared to others we had had. The breakfast fared little better it was OK but not exceptional.

Room Tip: Stay in another Hotel if you can!

We arrived at Midnight to be greeted by a prebooked Bedroom that was dirty with damp beds and a Bathroom that smelt and was full of mould. Quite disgusting.
Too late to find another Hotel so we had to suffer it. The Staff were apologetic the next day as they are waiting for Head Office to give them money to redecorate.
Would anyone reading this please vote with their money and book elsewhere and then the Head Office will send the money.....
Truly disgusting rank place to stay. Health hazard with all the mould too......

Room Tip: Book somewhere else

We chose this hotel as it was last minute and the Kyriad we normally use in Coquelles was booked up. It was easy to find on the sat nav and is exactly what we expect from Campnile hotels. It was Clean but basic, but that's all you need at the price.
From what I have read make sure u ask for a room that does not connect internally, we had 007 and it was very quiet. Secure car park which is what we like travelling on a bike. Arrived at 21:30 and although the resturant doesn't close till 22:00 when we asked if we could order the chef was less than impressed, so we didn't bother, although the reception were happy to seat us to be fair to them. Breakfast was standard but pricey as most seem to be withe budget hotels these days.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that doesn't connect internally

Another overnight stop enroute to the UK. Arrived around 2030hrs and the car park was nearly full.

Quickly allocated our room which was ground floor facing the main car park - No 3. The room was clean and tidy and for the cost of €50 a night, all in all good value.

The only issue with our room, it was a room with an internal locked access door to room No 2, so that both rooms could be enlarged if required. The issue we encountered that night was the full on domestic incident between the couple occupying room No 2, which I think everyone staying in our part of the Hotel experienced as well! Being non smoking rooms as well, the joining door has a 2cm gap at the bottom, which allowed not only the noise but the unpleasant strong Gallic whif of their Gauloises to ingress our room! Suffice to say after having to strongly vent our feelings the noise and smoke went away! Very little Entente Cordial!

A wet towel helped plug the door gap, however when I stay here again I will ask for one of the non joining rooms.

The place as many have commented on is a little tired, but for the price we got it was good value and the Hotel could not be held responsible for the actions of some of their guests that night!

Room Tip: Don't go for a room which has an internal access door to the next room!

We stayed at this Hotel for the second time for a overnight stop after driving up from Puycelsi. We booked the Hotel again mainly for the location not to far from A16 Motorway and Euro Tunnel.Room was clean and bed comfortable. However i think the hotel could do with sprucing up a wee bit as its starting to look a little shabby. We booked the evening meal which was much improved from our last stay.I had the Rib Eye Steak which was very good.We will probably use the hotel again
