We stayed 5 nights with Jacqueline and Joel whilst visiting the Somme battlefields' 100-year anniversary. Our room was clean, comfortable and very homely, Jacqueline's homemade preserves at breakfast were fantastic and her evening meals are excellent. Not only do you get a 3-course meal but a homemade aperitif, wine and coffee all for 27 euros per person. The accommodation is well situated for trips into the Somme but Peronne also has a good war museum too. The farm has an assortment of animals including donkeys and chickens, some of whom make quite a noise at times but somehow it just added to the rustic charm of this lovely place. You could not ask for more welcoming hosts and I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone.

This was a wonderful 3 night stay whilst we were at Somme100. The owners were fantastic and our room was clean and comfortable. The lady of the house makes some of the best preserves which she shares at the breakfast table with guests.
Ideally situated to visit the various battle sites and graves of WW1 and the interesting museum in Peronne. I would recommend this place to everyone and hope to come back in the foreseeable future.

Moulin de Binard is a great base for exploring the Somme region. It's in an idyllic rural setting, but peace and quiet is not guaranteed. During our one-night visit, someone chose to ride a very noisy motorbike repeatedly up and down the road outside at bedtime and the hosts' menagerie of donkeys, goats and chickens woke us early with an impressively load and sustained dawn chorus. Our room was fine, but there was a damp smell in the en-suite shower room. The highlight was the impressive choice of delicious jams for breakfast.

We thank you for your stay and you enjoyed our homemade jams.
We are sorry if anyone was noisy with his motorbike at your bed time.
We are surprised by the bad smell you felt in the shower room: the shower rooms are thoroughly cleaned after each departure of guests and disinfected.
May be because the weather was sultry ? but we are not the cause ...
For our animals, is what makes the charm of our farm, and also for that many people come at home.
We are sorry, we will consider your opinion, we will kill our roosters.

Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere from Joelle & Jacqueline. Peace and quiet and beautiful countryside location. Only 5mins drive from Peronne. Clean, characterful and spacious room with en-suite with towels and lots of hot water. We didn't have the evening meal but it looked delicious. Substantial continental breakfast of breads, croissants, eggs, cheese, yogurt, fruit juice, tea/coffee, and will even provide an early (5am) breakfast if booked the night before. They make their own jams, pates, and preserves - yummy! Friendly cats, dog, donkey and peacock on-site gave a lovely homely country feel. A lovely home from home!

We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the green, leafy surroundings. Jacqueline and Joel were lovely hosts, happy to chat and share stories. Our room (Coquelicots) was great - spacious, nice views, wi-fi, clean en suite. Brekky was good and we particularly enjoyed poaching fresh eggs in the microwave. The other guests provided good company at breakfast and at other times, too.

Special mention of the small kitchen available for guests' use, which included a hotplate, fridge, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery etc. The kettle and microwave in the breakfast room were also available for use.

We loved the animals, too - especially Issy, Gamin and Orla. A lovely place for a relaxing stay, with easy acess to WWI sites near Peronne.

Room tip: Rooms with double beds are on the first floor, rooms with twin beds are on the second floor. Stairs only.
