Anyone who expects a great hotel for €36 a night is delirious.
For €36 euro, you get a tiny room and a tiny ensuite bathroom with shower.
The room is fairly modern, clean and has everything you need for a nights stay.
This is not a hotel for staying in multiple nights but rather, a stop over hotel.
The staff were friendly.
I tend to go to local bakeries in the morning for breakfast(alot more for your money and tastier) so not sure what the breakfast service is like.
Perhaps, the bathroom was too small, it's a little noisy hearing people leave and enter their rooms late at night an early in the morning and maybe the bed could have been a tad softer, but who cares, it's €36 people!
Nothing else is this cheap, 1 night, 1 sleep then move on.
Would stay here again if on my way through

We were late arriving and so did not really inspect the room before dashing next door to the Poivre Rouge (very good) to eat just before they closed. When we returned and pulled back the duvet we realised the sheet, duvet cover and pillows had not been changed after the previous occupant. The gentleman on the desk apologised and acted quickly, immediately offering another room. This one was clean but we discovered it did not have any loo paper. This was quickly supplied. On our return journey 10 days later we decided to give them another chance. The room we were given (17) had a very bad smell in the bathroom. Once again the gentleman on the desk (different one) acted quickly bringing some chemicals to get rid of the odour and explained that this problem only occurs in rooms 17, 117 and 217. As the hotel was nowhere near full we couldn't understand why we had been given this room with a known problem. We again ate at the Poivre Rouge and again it was very good. Back at the hote when we tried to close the blind before going to bed we realised it wasn't working properly and had to manually unroll and roll it up the next day. Would we ever return - doubtful it needs proper management and proper maintenance.

A sudden decision to go to France for a few days meant nothing was planned except the final destination. A search online in the car for accomodation at our half way point found this hotel (one in a chain) at a great price.
We were greeted pleasantly and the room - although tiny tiny (about 3m x 3m) was clean, quiet and had everything needed for a utilitarian hotel. Mattresses firm, plenty of lights and power outlets for charging the usual phones and computers. Free fast wifi and digital TV with a wide range of channels including English speaking ones.
Room was a bit warm at night so we opened the window but the noise from nearby motorway was not too bad.
Bathroom efficient with good water pressure and hot water. Make sure you pull the shower curtain closed before turning on the water or entire bathroom gets soaked.
Breakfast not included in price but relatively cheap & fresh warmed croissants were welcome.
Next door was a chain restaurant which I think is connected to these hotels. Surprised at the good quality and decor and price.
All in all - a very good choice

The service is very good, helpfull and neat.
Unfortunaly the room and bathroom are small.
Overall it is very clean and new. Restaurant nearby, aside the hotel. Which is very confeniant, when you had a long car drive.
More publicity for thuis hotel would-be helpfull.

Well we use this as a stop over n route to the Alps when driving from the UK.

It is very tired and needs an update, having said that it is clean and functional...We had a double bed with a bunkbed over it. Bed was hard but comfy

The good thing is it is close to the motorway and it is by a shopping center with lots of restaurants closeby.

We left before the breakfast kitchen opended on Sunday morning, (it was all locked up) so we had to sit and have our breakfast in the foyer.

But at €40 a night for a family...you can't complain!
