Stayed here for 3 nights in a quadruple room with two children. The room was neat and tidy with two single beds and a bunk bed for two children. The room was less spacious than we expected but just enough to move around after keeping couple of medium sized bags.

The beds were ok if not very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and towels changed every day as required. Air-conditioning in the room was effective and adjustable to the need. There was a flat screen TV but was unable to find a single English channel. Having said that this hotel seems to be mainly for French guests as I was unable to find any information leaflets or brochures in English.

People at the reception desk were helpful during the couple of times I had interacted with them. We had breakfast at the hotel and had reasonably good collection of standard items. As we were just using it for overnight stay and out during the day we never used their pool or the gym. One disappointment we had was that the hotel didn’t have a single leaflet of the park map and details. As we reached in the evening we were hoping to get the details to plan for the next day park visit but that didn’t work out.

There was NO coffee/team making facility; NO mini fridge; NO safe. Though it was a 2 star accommodation we were expecting at least a kettle and a mini fridge.

There is a bus stop just outside the hotel. If you are travelling by bus (Line 1) from Poitiers then the hotel stop is after the ‘Palais de Congress’. Though we didn’t walk from the hotel to the park, it seems like a 10 minutes walk to reach the park.

One night we hired a taxi to come to the hotel from Poitiers (near Notre Dame church) and that cost us 30 Euros (end of August 2011).

We used this hotel as a base for exploring the area, it is in an ideal location with many attractions within one hours drive. The hotel was clean, rooms were very basic - the beds are very uncomfortable, the air conditioning unit never goes off so you can hear the fan going all the time, probably OK for a one night stop over, any longer and you will get tired quickly!. Buffet restaurant was fairly good for a quick lunch, the poolside restaurant had a very small menu. The bar is a good area to relax - service could be better, we had to wait a while to be served, not too expensive for a hotel bar. The pool area is small - the sun does not make its way onto the pool until approx. 11am and sun loungers are very limited. Overall this was not a bad hotel, ideal for a one/two night stay, I would not recommend staying any longer.

Spent one night at this hotel whilst visiting Futuroscope. The hotel was very good, and within a short walk of the park. There was also plenty of parking. We were a family of four and ate in the restaurant both for our evening meal and breakfast. The food is buffet but was very good. Our children are 16 and 14, so I was a little surprised to find that they were offered the children's deal. This turned out to be exactly the same as the adult food but for a vastly reduced price. Definitely a good deal. The bedroom was OK. Not the biggest but fine for a one night stay. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Futuroscope.

When we arrived here we didn't have a brilliant first impression but we grew to like the hotel . It's a big hotel in about 15 mins walking distance to Futuroscope. It has a pool but that doesn't open till May, it looked OK though. The 9 year old thought it looked great with a big mural of aliens inside the reception, and a games room full of coin in the slot machines.

The first room we had, had a funny smell, like damp. They moved us to another one which was OK. It was almost like 2 rooms, divided by a high partition, pretty good with kids as they could have their own semi private section without being out of earshot.

The bathroom and loo were separate, the bath towels a bit thin but generally spacious and fine. The loo was the downside, it was lit only with a weird blue LED lamp. Not only couldn't you see properly inside it (if you like to sit on the loo and read) but I wonder howt the chambermaids could see well enough to clean it properly, I felt a bit concerned about that.

The big plus point was the food. A very good breakfast buffet -lots of choice and child-friendly and international. We wanted to try the evening buffet but unfortunately they had a private function on the night we had available.

We also had a meal in the sit down restaurant and that was VERY good quality, and very reasonable, one of the better meals we had in POitier in fact.

The staff seemed willing and the place was reasonably priced. I'd say it was a good place to go with kids and one to recommend. The only downside really was that loo.... still can't understand what possessed them to put those coloured lights in.....

We have stayed at several hotels on the Futuroscope site. This one is relatively quiet, especially the front bedrooms. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It had a separate bathroom and toilet = this made both seem small compared with those where bathroom and toilet are combined.

The restaurant offers a good value traditional (blackboard) menu with 3 courses for 18 euros 50. or during busy times a self service in the L'Aerobase. Breakfast is self service offering plenty of choice and enough to keep a Futuroscope visitor going throughout the day.

The hotel is very popular with French visitors and is a quality hotel at a reasonable price

THis hotel has a 2-star section and a 3-star section, I insist that we were put in the 2-star one because our room didn't at all match the room description on the hotel web site but anyway...

The staff we encountered was at checkin and breakfast, they were not the friendliest bunch.

The breakfast buffet was actually good with French hotel standards with quite a lot of choice, also ham, cheese instead of only croissants, pain au chocolat and other sweet stuff.

The location is a standard location for this type of hotel, 10 minute walk from Futuroscope. I just feel that it's a shame that there's no shuttle service, at least from the train station which is on the other side of the parc and then all of a sudden it's much more than a 10 minute walk.

The rooms however, this was what destroys it all, specially since the price for a double room at this hotel in July is a neat 95€.

The floor was dirty, you could feel dirt and gravel through your socks when walking around. On the bathroom floor there was toilet paper lying around, luckily it was unused. There is a shower curtain which has been removed from all hotels or so I thought because when it comes to hygiene, a shower curtain is really disgusting. Specially here since it was so narrow that you couldn't avoid touching it with different parts of your body as soon as you moved around. We had earwigs I believe they are called in English, in the bathroom. Another proof of how terribly dirty it must be overall and has been for a long time.

To summarise, there are several other hotels in the area and considering what we got for the price they charge I would say you're definitely better off in another hotel.

This hotel offers exactly what it says in the many description of it on the internet. It is a clean, well run and perfectly adequate 3 star hotel. It is within easy walking distance of the Futuroscope theme park and is clean and well maintained. The rooms though quite small arevery tidy and well looked after. The facilities are very good for this class of hotel in France and the bed was very comfortable indeed. There is a perfectly adequate breakfast buffet each morning and a small restaurant serving perfectly acceptable albeit plain food. The bar offers very reasonably priced drinks and the bar staff can knock up a good cocktail. The purpose of this hotel is to offer a comfortable base to visit the Futurescope park or business interests you may have locally. There is a small swimming pool with sun longers and a games room for children. The description of this hotel found on various hotel booking sites is entirely accurate. This hotel is not a resort hotel it is simply a perfectly good value for money comfortable base to visit the surrounding area. We would certainly return to this hotel.
