I was slightly worried as some of the recent reviews were very negative but we wanted somewhere to go on our final day of our holiday and this did not disappoint. My sons are 9 and 11 and we all loved it! Went on a Saturday and the queues were fine. Most we queued was 50 for dance with robots. So many cool shows and rides and even just the park surroundings and sculptures were amazing! The end of night show wasn’t until 22:45 and I was worried we weren’t going to be able to fill our time but we were there from 10am until 23:30 and didn’t really stop! Good options are wide and really good. Le Quai does a fabulous set menu of non amusement park food! The children absolutely loved it! Highlights were Tornado Chasers, The Extraordinary Journey, the pedalo bikes, Upside down house…….so many! You would not get all this for €45 elsewhere!
Ignore the negative reviews and go!
Very nice theme park. Lots of attractions for all ages. Avoid week-ends with bank holidays before or after the weekend if you don’t have great patience skills. Waiting time can be 120 to 140 minutes for most popular attractions (tornado chasers, Time Machine, extraordinary journey, etc.). Don’t expect to pay a lesser price even when attractions (objectif Mars, Mysteries of Kubic) are technically down.
On arrival nothing outside was open …spent just under 2 hrs there having spent over 130 euros for tickets!!
The latest attraction Tornado broke down during show …we went on 4 attractions!!!!
Only one place to get a coffee but unable to as no seats due to a school outing …it was a really disappointing day out fir friends who had come from Uk !
I contacted Futuroscope but as of yet still no reply !
While I find the theme and name of the park to be pretty cool. Honestly, the wait lines were ridiculous and the actual rides or attractions were not worth it. We tried everything in the two days here.
And only 3-4 rides actually stood out for us all.
- Project Mars (Long lines though)
- Dance With the Robots
- Illusio (Pretty cool show).
- La Vienne Dynamic
I can add “Artur” ride as somewhat cool too.
The rest were useless or just a big movie screen with a speed cut up parts of movies you cab watch at home like the “Yeti” one… waste of time.
You need to pay extra 6€ to try the total black sensation room
Thing.
If you want to do the Zero Gravity,
Its like 65€ for minutes of it. Not worth it.
Its actually better to come in the summer, it has water activities and slides etc for kids.
Honestly when I read futuroscope
I think, innovation, cool technology, experiments or science and mind things that make us go “wow”…. That effect was not here at all.
Outside of that, the night show is at 9pm
And all the rides close at 7pm
So if you are leaving the park to come back for the show, they need to stamp your wrist etc.
Hope this review is helpful to some, Im just trying to be honest. Our family wasnt as impressed as we wanted to be and were excited for this.
We actually went to the Australian Pink Floyd concert at the Arena. New Building, Toilet facilities not clearly marked, Went for a drink in the Bodega area, accident waiting to happen there as there is no barrier between the floor and the seated steps below, a lady was putting a stool on the back of the table to sit and we stopped her. Stairs in Block F and G VERY steep with no handrail.
If
I go again i will make sure i book for lower levels
Good park for families with children. It will be interesting for adults and children. Beautiful well-groomed territory, there is a place to walk. I didn’t like that you had to stand in line for the attractions for a long time, about an hour to ride for 1.5 minutes. I was impressed by the laser show - incredibly beautiful, be sure to stay and watch it.
