Lovely family run accommodation in Angolins sur mer. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. The studio appartment is located on the first floor and I wouldn't recommend for anyone with trouble climbing stairs- however this wasn't any trouble for us. There is a bus stop right outside the property, bus number 16 runs to both la Rochelle and chatelaillion-plage for €1.30 Per person this occurs hourly, however the last bus back to the accommodation is around 7pm both ways. There isn't much in the way of restaurants near the accommodation if you don't have a car, only a pizza place by the church. There are two hobs, a microwave and bbq on offer but the weather didn't permit us to use the bbq most evenings. There is a bakers, butchers and co-op within walking distance of the accommodation and the big Carrefour can be reached by foot although it is about 2miles away. The pool is Lovely and clean although a little chilly if the weather isn't warm enough. I would recommend learning some basic French if you don't know this already. Whilst we enjoyed our stay if we were to revisit we would certainly consider hiring a car to broaden our options.
