Behind an unassuming exterior, this little hostellerie has a very pretty garden full of lavender and jasmine, with a sparkling-clean swimming pool.
Our room was prettily-decorated, although fairly small. It had a newly-fitted bathroom with rainfall shower and an extremely small separate toilet (almost deducted a star here because the loo had neither a window nor an extractor fan - not that you're likely to be stuck in there with Montezuma's Revenge if you eat here - read on!)
However, the bed was comfortable and that's the main thing. There was plenty of hot water in the bathroom which was spotless.
The food was really good. We had the Demi-Pension which provided us with an excellent continental breakfast and a delicious 4 course meal, served either on the terrace or in the cosy dining room, according to the weather and our personal preference. Thierry is an accomplished chef and for a 2 star establishment the food and service were brilliant.
Myriam presides over the dining room, sometimes being in sole charge of food service, which she manages effortlessly. She's a lovely lady and if you can speak some French you will find she has a good sense of humour.
We hope to return to this delightful hostellerie some time in the future.
If you prefer great food and exploring Provence rather than sitting in a swanky bedroom watching television, this place is for you!
