La Peiriero was a great place to stay for our trip to Provence. The loft room was great for a family of 4, including 2 teenagers. The room was clean and spacious with two full baths and two TVs. We loved the balcony overlooking the backyard, with beautiful pool and play areas. The terrace restaurant served amazing breakfasts and wonderful dinners. We loved the meals of fresh Provencal ingredients and the 'cocktail of the day' (alcoholic or not) were delicious. The service at the front desk and at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. The snackbar at the pool was a great place for a casual lunch or afternoon snack. The nearby village of Fontvieille, which is within a short walk, has a number of shops and restaurants and many different activities. The pillows aren't the best we have had but were okay.

We choose this hotel for i'ts location -between Nimes, Arles, Les Baux de Provence and St. Remy. And the location is very central. The hotel is very nice with a beautyful garden and swimmingpool. Children has there own room to play (with all kinds of toys). Dining is nice in the nearby villages bur also more than oke in the hotel.

We recently stayed at La Peiriero, which was booked through our cycling tour company. What a lovely and quaint hotel to return to each night after an exhausting day of cycling. The meals at the hotel were excellent, and the staff friendly and accomodating.

We would have loved to stay longer, and I would highly recommend this as a hotel to base yourself out of when exploring the Provence area.

We were extremely dissappointed with our stay at this hotel. The staff was very unaccomodating, which I found surprising as it is advertised as being a family friendly hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to families with young children. The hotel is very noisy. You can actually hear people talking in their rooms when you're walking in the hallways. There is a nice pool, however.

I spent an evening at this hotel recently. It is a beautiful property with gorgeous grounds. The hotel is clean though the linens and carpet are dated. All of that was fine but I found the staff, overall, to be remarkably rude and unprofessional. Other than a nice young lady at the front desk, the staff avoided eye contact, were brusk and very unaccommodating. In fact, me and my group of 12 other businessmen arrived late in the afternoon and met on the back patio for cocktails. After several minutes of not being served, we asked for a drink and were told that drinks were not being served because, I kid you not, the staff was eating dinner. Sure enough, sitting in the dining room was the staff, chowing down on dinner for 45 minutes before and after 6:00 pm.

The restaurant food was very good, as reported by those who ate there, though a number of us were put off enough by the staff that we dined elsewhere. I wouldn't go back.

we chose this bed 'n' breakfast type place for its location -between nimes, arles, les baux and st. remy- however some of the other critiques are spot on. dinner was good but the servers are kids and not very good. they cannot "take the heat" the owners and the other desk people were helpful- you can walk into town and the parking is free. not sure i would stay again.

The hotel is in a good location just a few minutes walk from the small town of Fontvieille, where there are bakeries, coffee bars and restaurants (and an interesting visit to an old mill). The hotel is kid-friendly, with a pool, ping pong and other activities. It has gated parking too. Our room was perfect for a family - with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (although one bathroom was so small we all ended up sharing the big one) and a very nice balcony overlooking the garden. We were there a little off-season and it was very quiet - it could be noisy in the summer as the pool and the restaurant terrace were directly below our room. The staff were pleasant enough, not overly friendly. One odd rule was that there was no picnicking in the rooms - we nearly always have at least one night in when we're traveling, to give the children a break from sitting in restaurants. And we weren't sure how they applied that rule - no breadsticks with a glass of wine on our balcony? I wondered if they were trying to get people into the hotel restaurant. Other than that, it was a very nice experience and we'd recommend it to other families. Location is ideal, with easy access to Arles and Avignon.
